The famous Library of Alexandria was the largest repository of knowledge in the ancient world. It housed the entirety of wisdom, intellectual treasures, sciences, and many works of inestimable value. Unfortunately, barbarian invasions destroyed the library, leaving a significant void in the world's cultural heritage.

The countless papyri, with the manuscripts of great sages, recorded the journey of the human spirit. It is also noteworthy that only 10% of ancient Greek knowledge was preserved. For instance, out of Sophocles' 160 tragedies, we have only seven today, highlighting the great loss. This enormous library, which was lost in flames, left behind a brilliant past, reminding us of the beauty that can exist for humanity and is called knowledge. What remained from that great destruction is taught today in almost all universities around the world.
