Lift comfortably a 50-inch, 17-kilogram Samsung (without the Samsung base) while maintaining all the capabilities; settings, you get what you pay for. I adjust the setting according to the use of the screen, e.g. TV from a distance, lowering and tilting for gaming while sitting at a desk, raising for standing meetings, etc., the ability to rotate, although I don't use it much.

The important thing is that it exudes safety for such large screens. There is no need to purchase the corresponding "heavy-duty" base (hd = heavy duty), which seems to be intended for large curved screens (like the Odyssey), even though the 50-inch Samsung that I installed is heavier than the Odyssey. I would say it is better to avoid it, as it may be too strong and prevent the adjustment of non-curved screens. In the worst case, the heavy-duty component can be purchased separately and converted.

I installed the TV myself using the following technique: I assembled and installed the base on the desk. I loosened the Ergotron locks and then connected it to the TV, which was standing on its base. I tightened all the locks and released the TV from its regular base.

From the few products that you pay quite a lot of money for, but when you open the package, you say, yes, I have something solid and powerful in my hands that justifies the cost. For a simple VESA mount 100x100, the installation is relatively simple, but if the screen is very large (35+), you may need a second person to help. If you want to loosen the movement of the arm a bit, insert an Allen key into a hole in the last section before the screen. However, in order to see the point where the key attaches, the arm must be fully extended. In any case, the final result is quite tight and requires some force in the movements. But that's the point, the arm is for large screens and gives you confidence that it won't sag.

Positive: One of the few that can support 49-inch screens. Very durable and despite the weight I have loaded it with, it seems to withstand without many issues.

Negative: Expensive, a bit difficult to move (it is heavy, of course, so it's logical).

There aren't many options in its category, but it is expensive for smaller screens.

Truly, perhaps the best desktop arm (for a single monitor) currently available on the market. Here, the saying "you get what you pay for" absolutely applies. For its value, it offers security and absolute stability. It goes without saying that it is mainly intended for supporting a large/heavy (and expensive) monitor. The construction is meticulous and sturdy, and you can tell as soon as you hold the arm's pieces in your hands.

Complete freedom of movement, the ability to adjust each connection of the arm to be more relaxed or correspondingly more resistant to rotating the screen. The screen doesn't move "left-right" for fun, and to hang it down, you really have to exert force! Very quick and easy assembly, as well as a very understandable installation guide.

I purchased the arm to support the LG 49WL95C-W (~13kg), which takes up the entire width of my desk, and I have not regretted it for a moment. I highly recommend it.
