  I don't know if my wax warmer is defective, but in my case, the temperature is not adjustable. To be honest, it turns on by itself as soon as it's plugged in. Whether it's on or off or any other setting, the result is the same. It always heats to a single temperature. As for whether it does its job, yes, it does, but only partially, since to do your job properly, the wax needs to cool a bit, and this is achieved by lowering the temperature to medium when the wax becomes completely liquid, something that the device does not allow (in my case). Therefore, to achieve this, you have to remove the container from the device, resulting in the product hardening and needing to be put in and taken out all the time. If you leave it inside, the wax becomes too liquid and doesn't stay on the spatula for you to spread it.

  Although the very low price of the wax heater initially made me suspicious of equally low quality, in the end I was convinced by all the good reviews here and gave it a chance. And I had to throw it away without really using it. From what I see, most negative reviews say that the device did not melt the wax. Mine, paradoxically, had the opposite problem: no matter what temperature I set it to, even if I just opened it, the wax would melt and become like water, making it impossible for me to apply it correctly (and without the risk of burns). Obviously, the thermostat was faulty. It was not worth the trouble to take it for repair.

  Now, because maybe it was just me and a few other girls who happened to get defective devices, anyone who wants to risk 5-10 euros (which is not an astronomical amount anyway), what can I say, good luck. However, even if the wax heater initially works, I don't know how well it will work after some time. Its cheap construction admittedly did not inspire much confidence in me. Anyone who has had it for a while and uses it, can let us know!

  For its price, the machine is very worth it. It melts the wax quite quickly. It doesn't heat up much, the wax melts but it doesn't burn or cause any damage to the skin apart from the normal redness from waxing, which goes away quickly. I bought it mainly for my mustache and I am very satisfied. I don't believe it's worth spending more money on a wax heater.

  I also decided to buy it because I saw that it has MANY POSITIVE REVIEWS! And of course, I was disappointed! I wonder how some people give it 5 stars for this thing. I have put 200g of wax and I have had it on for 80 minutes at full power and the wax has not fully melted. Unacceptable! For this money and for personal use, it's definitely worth it. A small amount of wax that I tried melted in ten minutes. From then on, once the wax melts, I believe the result depends on how you apply it to the skin and how you remove it.   You can use any special wax you want, I bought waxing beads like azulene and you can place as many beads as you want in the waxing container to heat them up.

  Many comments say that the wax does not heat up easily, but I believe that it heats up very quickly when you set it to "hi". Then, when you see that the wax has melted, you switch it to "med" and wait for it to become lukewarm so that you can apply it to the desired area without getting burned, for as long as you need for waxing.

  You can try it first on a part of your leg before using it directly on the bikini area.

  Finally, if there is leftover wax in the container, you can use it without worry the next time because it has a lid that you can place on top to protect it from dust and heat it up again.
