It constantly freezes, loses settings, and the TV (which is also LG) sends other signals but understands this, suddenly switches to OPTICAL, loses everything, and never reconnects unless I remove all HDMI cables and reset. Bezahle nicht mehr als 200€. Although we are essentially talking about almost the same machine but in an advanced form, their difference is huge. The HX906PX had sound coming from the front (like all) and also from above with an extra speaker. This automatically turned the 5.1 into 9.1 with three-dimensional sound that filled the room. It even had a special button on the remote to choose 3D sound (music-movies) in addition to the classic presets (the only ones available on the LHB645N), which I never used because the sound was clearly inferior. It also had a very powerful subwoofer that made the couch literally shake. Unfortunately, the LHB645N does not have any of the above and the experience is disappointing. Tiny speakers, monotonous sound, without intensity and a mini... subwoofer that simply does not do the job it should. Of course, it is better than the TV speakers and that's why it seems super to many who have not heard anything else, but in no case is the sound it delivers satisfactory.
* Putting a second speaker on the rear surround that is fake and does not work but has been added as a decoration is nothing but a deception! Bravo to LG for the innovation...
* You should also know that LG provides spare parts for each of their machines for up to 5 years from their release. This specific home cinema is a 2017 model, so if something goes wrong after 2022, you will not be able to repair it.

The home cinema simply rocks considering its price. Powerful sound, satisfactory bass, nice appearance, and plenty of settings. As for connectivity, you can connect via Bluetooth to any device to play sound, via HDMI ARC (as long as the TV supports it) to play the TV's sound, and via optical fiber. Regarding the speakers placed opposite the living room and next to the TV, NOTE that one of the 2 speakers is decorative, meaning it doesn't produce any sound. The bass is satisfactory (maybe not 100% clear). I highly recommend it as an option given its price. I also tested the channels on YouTube, Netflix, and the browser with AAC-LC Channel ID (all on the TV) and everything is perfect!
The key is to make the correct Dolby settings on the audio system and the TV, and of course, the dB of each channel!
The speakers work for both the back and the front, wherever it suits each user! They have the same wattage and Ohm, so it doesn't affect the efficiency.

I have also tried a crystal audio casb240 2.1 system on the TV,
and compared to the bass of the LG home cinema, it falls behind.. and the fixed cable is too short to try changing its positions in the room.
As for the rest, the installation is very easy and the menu is very simple and easy to use, it flawlessly plays Blu-ray files from the hard drive that I have connected and also plays Ultra HD 5.1 from Netflix, it works perfectly.

Es hat eine sehr gute Klangleistung bei hoher Lautstärke und der Bass... Lass mich einfach sagen, dass ich ihn auf -2 reduziert habe und trotzdem das Gefühl hatte, dass die Bomben in meinem Haus fallen, während ich Dunkirk anschaue.
Natürlich spielt auch die Qualität der abgespielten Datei eine Rolle, es sei denn, wir reden von Blu-ray. Ich habe es nur mit HDMI mit dem 4k LG 55SM8600 verbunden. Das HDMI ARC erledigt seine Aufgabe perfekt, wenn man es richtig einstellt, und es hilft, dass es die gleichen Marken sind. Ich spiele alle meine Dateien über den Fernseher ab und der Ton hatte bisher keine Probleme. Es werden auch lange Kabel für die hinteren Lautsprecher mitgeliefert, was für fast jeden praktisch sein dürfte.
Das Paket enthält kein HDMI-Kabel, und wenn man HDMI ARC verwenden möchte, benötigt man ein GUTES HDMI 1.4 (mindestens) Kabel und muss sicherstellen, dass der Fernseher kompatibel ist und den richtigen Eingang hat. Andernfalls gibt es auch die Option von Optical, die ich nicht ausprobiert habe, aber ich weiß, dass optische Fasern für den Ton eine geringe Bandbreite haben und nur bis Dolby Digital 5.1 unterstützen, was komprimierter Ton ist. Mit HDMI ARC habe ich jedoch Dateien mit Dolby Atmos 7.1 und der Fernseher erkennt sie und spielt sie perfekt auf dem Heimkino ab (natürlich in 5.1 - ich weiß nicht, ob es heruntergemischt wird oder einfach die beiden Kanäle ignoriert).
Es ist das beste Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis (ich habe es für 229 € bekommen) für ein fertiges 5.1-Soundsystem. Wenn man ein Filmliebhaber ist, kann man es bedenkenlos kaufen!
Update 14/11/2021:
Ich weiß nicht, ob es an dem HDMI-Kabel liegt, das ich habe, aber manchmal reagiert der Blu-ray-Player nicht, wenn ich über den Fernseher eine Verbindung über ARC herstellen möchte. In solchen Fällen wechselt er auf Optical und es gibt keinen Ton. Leider kann ARC, obwohl es unterstützt wird, nicht manuell als Tonquelle ausgewählt werden. Also habe ich auch ein optisches Kabel besorgt und es sowohl mit Optical als auch mit HDMI mit dem Fernseher verbunden, damit ich es mit der Fernbedienung des Fernsehers steuern kann. Die optische Verbindung funktioniert einwandfrei und manchmal wähle ich Optical und der Blu-ray-Player verbindet sich über ARC (als ob er mich verspottet), aber da ich beide Kabel habe, ist das kein Problem. Wie ich bereits erwähnt habe, werden nur Dolby Digital (nicht DD+) oder AC3-Audio bis zu 48 kHz über Optical übertragen. Das Gute ist, dass Optical 5.1 perfekt mit Streaming-Plattformen wie Netflix und Cinobo funktioniert.
Update 26/11/2024:
Es funktioniert immer noch einwandfrei! Und seitdem habe ich meinen Fernseher gewechselt, der neue hat eARC. Obwohl das Heimkino nur reguläres ARC hat, funktioniert es perfekt mit diesem bestimmten Fernseher. Nur bei einem Stromausfall verlieren die beiden Geräte ihre Verbindung, aber mit einem Neustart des Heimkinos funktioniert es wieder einwandfrei.

This one that I bought to replace it is more powerful and has better bass, but it has worse treble, the optical connection doesn't work with my 4K (it worked and works fine with the old one), and the HDMI ARC is annoying because you can't have sound from the TV at the same time as the home cinema and adjust the volume as you want, while before it worked perfectly.
Overall, a very annoying product, I almost regret buying it, it's lucky that I needed speakers otherwise I wouldn't even consider it.
