Very good purchase for its price. The only drawback that gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the size of the bulb. It is huge compared to the equivalent halogen. See the attached image and you will understand.

I bought a set of two 2w and a set of two 5w for my bathroom to see which one would be better, wanting to replace the old 20w bulbs. The 2w ones flicker and change brightness to an unbearable extent. I have commented on the corresponding product for the 5w ones.

2 out of 3 started smoking and eventually burned out within 10 minutes of operation at 12VAC. I can't believe it just happened. This happened with the 2-watt ones, the 5-watt ones I have had for a while without any issues.

The quality is mediocre to poor. I chose them for a light fixture with 12 bulbs and the light is very dim for a 10 square meter space. Prefer higher wattage or higher lumens than 2 watts and choose transparent material in case you have crystal-type Swarovski lights (they don't shimmer with a matte bulb). They also make a slight squeaking noise that is quite annoying, which is heard loudly when it's quiet.
