Connecting a VGA monitor 1280*1024 to DisplayPort worked perfectly, without any second thoughts.
Connecting a VGA monitor 1600*900 to both NVIDIA GPU and onboard graphics card on an AMD SOCKET motherboard with adrenalin software also worked flawlessly, without any issues.
Combined with a VGA to VGA cable, I did not encounter any problems whatsoever.
It is worth every penny, 100%

It does what it's supposed to. I bought 3-4 for different PCs that were connected to old VGA monitors. However, I don't understand the sudden increase in price from 3 euros to 6+

It does not provide the full resolution that a screen can achieve!
From 1920x1200, which is the screen's resolution, it is only seen as 1650x1080!

The resume is that it works. I plugged it into the PC's displayport, connected an old VGA monitor on top, the screen briefly went black and the desktop extended to the second monitor by default. Neither good nor bad.

for its price, it is decent but you get what you pay for, if you plug it into the computer and leave it without touching it, it doesn't break,
if you frequently plug and unplug it (3 times a month), the cables inside the display port get cut

A-B-S-O-L-U-T-E-L-Y!! Very poor quality, didn't last even a month with several issues on the screen (flickering). For those who want it for gaming, it's better to increase their budget.
EDIT: The store replaced it immediately, but without taking back their defective product, which shows that they have frequent issues with this product. In the end, the new one they sent me has been working very well for a week. So, my previous evaluation was for a defective product

It was used to connect an old VGA monitor to a Lenovo that only had Displayport. It did its job and more.
