I have been using it for a month now and it works perfectly. I connected my desktop computer with a displayport output to the HDMI input of my television.
I bought it to connect my laptop (HDMI output) to a larger second monitor (with DP input). The connection didn't work because the cable only works in reverse, something that is not mentioned in the description but only on the packaging.
Very good although I would recommend buying an HDMI cable, apart from the HDMI cables it would be my first choice
