It's not suitable for big TVs. Definitely not for a 55-inch. Mine barely fits and it's crooked. (On one side, it's a little higher because it's at the limit).
It's very easy to set up, as a TEMPORARY solution until you screw it back into the wall. If someone bumps into it, it might fall... but it's fine for a short while, you can set it up in 10 minutes max, and you have a TV again...
I have taken it before the 20th of the month. I have installed a Sony 55 TV. I have the same question, will it hold the TV without any problems? The entire TV is supported by a thin, or should I say weak, arm...
When I turn it, it has some oscillation...
The TV weighs 17 kilograms and the stand can hold up to 50.
Other than that, the stand is beautiful and the vertical arm is good. The TV is not raised too high (to answer my friend's question), just screw it back at the right height...
Much better than the expensive octopus-type base of the mother, a SAMSUNG 46" for the 2011 data (1,500€). Sturdy, ergonomic in rotation and tilt, very elegant.
I needed a stand to raise the TV higher on the furniture so that it could fit other equipment in front, and I ended up with this one. Excellent choice, sturdy construction, it rotates, it can tilt slightly if needed, and it hides all the cables that go to the TV. What else could one ask for? Maybe adjustable height, but it came exactly as I needed it and I didn't need that.
For my new 49-inch Sony with remote legs, due to the limitation of the furniture in length, as the previous TV was 40 inches and after doing the relevant market research, I ended up with this base. It has a quite qualitative and sturdy construction with black glass at the bottom, aluminum stand, smart cable hiding (and I have quite a few) and easy rotation. The only thing is that it stands a little higher than the legs provided by Sony, but it doesn't bother me. The price at the store is relatively good considering its quality.
Only the stickers do not have the best adhesive that goes under the base.
