The Akyga® AK-B1-700 ATX 700W power supply is one of the basic power supplies offered for powering desktop computers.
Made from high-quality components, the power supply features:
The silent 12 cm fan with a chrome-plated grid provides efficient cooling. The manual on/off switch allows for safe shutdown without the need to disconnect the network cable.
The high efficiency and stable operation of the power supply affect the reliability of all computer components.
Many important protective mechanisms (OVP, OCP, OPP, OTP, SCP) and PFC filter protect and prevent damage to the main parts of the computer and stabilize the operation of the power supply, so it operates without unwanted interference.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Overheats to the maximum. Crashes due to overheating. For 500w with 20 euros, it's truly a failure. For that many watts, it should do more. It's not that reliable.
This power supply is not worth it at all, I had it for 3 weeks and it burned out and fried my motherboard, it just wouldn't turn on
Impeccable for its price, quite high-quality.
Quite promising for its protections.
The only negative is the lack of an 8-pin for motherboard power. (It only has 4 pins)
I bought this power supply to replace the existing one in a 15-year-old computer because its performance at 500 Watts was necessary for the system after some upgrades I made. After subjecting it to a stress test, it seems that it delivers the nominal performance and quite steadily.
As for the "negatives" I noticed, they are the following:
1. The small noise of the fan (not particularly bothersome).
2. The very thin sheet of the external casing of the power supply. When trying to plug in the power cord into the corresponding socket of the power supply, it bends inward slightly. However, this is not a problem, just an observation.
It is definitely worth its money (€23.39) and more!
Only time will tell its durability...
I had an old prebuilt computer with this power supply (specifically 600 watts), and I would recommend avoiding it. My machine lasted for several years and still works, but I would suggest spending more money on a better brand, as this one is known for faulty power supplies. Additionally, the computer always made a strange noise that came from the power supply...
