The radio is simply digital and functional, but don't expect hi-fi stereo sound. However, the sound is quite strong. Because the volume adjustment is digital, at level 1 it is quite loud, which makes it a bit tiring at night if you want to listen to music and sleep. I would definitely buy it again. When there is no power, the display turns off. However, it can also take a round flat lithium battery (not included) to preserve the settings in case of a power outage. The device has a small antenna cable for the radio. The display is large and legible with red LED color, which is not bothersome in complete darkness. Unlike other clocks that use blue LED color and are particularly annoying at night (advice to everyone to avoid them), these specific clocks with red color do not create such a problem.
