The Philips monitor is aimed at users seeking an affordable yet efficient solution for their daily computing needs. The frameless screen offers dazzling images from edge to edge, in a sleek design, for comfortable viewing. It is suitable for professional applications, video playback, web browsing, or office use. It features SmartContrast and SmartImage functions for better picture quality, as well as Flicker-Free and LowBlue for eye comfort.
Wide LED screen with IPS technology
IPS monitors use advanced technology that gives you extremely wide viewing angles of 178/178 degrees, so you can view the screen from almost any angle. Unlike standard TN monitors, IPS monitors offer you exceptionally sharp images with vibrant colors. Thus, they are ideal not only for photos, movies, and web browsing, but also for professional applications that require color accuracy and consistent brightness at all times.
Monitor with Slim Bezel for Flawless Appearance
The new Philips monitors feature a very narrow bezel, minimizing distractions and offering maximum viewing size.
Suitable for multi-monitor setups, such as for gaming, graphic design, and professional applications, the ultra-thin bezel monitor gives you the feeling of using one large screen.
SmartContrast for detailed black rendering
SmartContrast is a Philips technology that analyzes the content you are viewing, through automatic color adjustment and sensitivity control for dynamic contrast enhancement so you can enjoy the best digital images and videos or for playing games where dark shades appear. When you select the Economy mode, the contrast is adjusted and backlighting is emitted with precise tuning for ideal viewing of everyday office applications and reduced power consumption.
SmartImage
SmartImage is an exclusive, cutting-edge technology from Philips that analyzes the content displayed on your screen and offers you enhanced display performance. The user-friendly interface allows you to select various modes such as Office, Photo, Movie, Game, Economy, etc., depending on the application you are using. Based on your selection, SmartImage dynamically enhances the contrast, saturation, and sharpness of images and videos for top-notch display performance. The Economy mode option provides you with significant energy savings. All in real-time, with the touch of a single button!
Less eye strain with Flicker-Free technology
Due to the way brightness is controlled on LED-backlit screens, some users notice a flicker on the screen, which can cause eye strain. Philips Flicker-Free technology applies a new solution for brightness regulation, reducing flicker and providing a more comfortable viewing experience.
Eye-friendly Low Blue Mode
According to studies, just like ultraviolet radiation, short-wavelength blue light emitted by LED screens can cause eye damage and affect vision over time. Developed with well-being in mind, Philips' Low Blue mode uses smart software technology to reduce harmful short-wavelength blue light.

Very good value for the money I paid. It has an internal power supply and there is no hanging cable with an external power supply outside the screen. It is perfect for office work that I use it for.
I ordered the screen to replace a very old one that stopped working. I went on Skroutz looking for an affordable one with good features. I found several, chose this one. Satisfied so far. Very fast service and easy attachment of the screen to its base. The box contained power cables and HDMI.
Good image, easy connection, beautiful screen and colors (nothing impressive of course). It's worth its money. Generally, in this size, it needs 4K, but that's subjective too
The screen for its price (at €150) is definitely worth it. The colors are excellent, the brightness is quite good at the point where I constantly work on it at 30%.
In terms of appearance, it is also rated 5/5. There are no bezels
I bought it for my office to connect older gen consoles (ps3/4/switch) to it, since my wife wanted to get rid of them as soon as she saw the ps5 entering the living room with its QLED TV. For €131 including shipping, it is the most affordable option. It's small, nice, and perfect for 2-3 hours a day.
The only downside is that it doesn't have speakers and many HDMI ports. A €15 HDMI splitter with 3-5 ports for console enthusiasts and you're ready to go.
Also, it's slightly tilted for playing (in case of dual fifa/pes/nba/racing/tekken), which is not bothersome.
Grab it if you have an old 22" VGA monitor or if you need a simple monitor for consoles and PC work.
For hardcore gamers, I don't think a 27" FHD @60fps with 5ms IPS is the sweet spot. In that case, you should go for Samsung Odyssey, AOC, Asus, Gigabyte with 1440p@144hz IPS HDR low 2-4MS for double the price.
