The sequel to the first title in the series is out and spreading terror!
An exciting horror game where the main character, Detective Sebastian Castellanos, tries to stand on his feet and face a world full of horror and dark creatures in order to save his daughter! Having hit rock bottom in his career, he gains strange allies and comes into contact with things and situations straight out of our most nightmarish dreams! With larger levels than its predecessor, Evil Within 2 promises endless hours of terror!
A world full of all kinds of threats awaits you, awakening your survival instinct and keeping you on constant alert!

Another great game, and this one is supernatural, horror, survival! AMAZING ATMOSPHERIC GAME, in terms of technical aspects it may fall a bit behind giants like the last of us, but it's not something that ruins the whole experience, and the camera, although a bit in the wrong place at first, you get used to it after a while! AMAZING GAME
I can say that I liked this one more than the first one in terms of gameplay. As for the story, it was equally good, but the first one had a better one
I think it is better than its predecessor in terms of story and plot, as it focuses more on the personal, family nightmare of the main character... At least that's what I prefer! I would say it had few but more glitches than the first one, which definitely affects the gameplay performance! However, I keep in mind that it could be due to the console or even scratches on the disc. It is easier, I believe, than the previous one, as it aims for more videos and effects (audio and visual) to make the story more cinematic and therefore more interesting... It has some original features that only enhance the protagonist. I wouldn't say it disappoints in any way, but it certainly leaves the usual question, now being a sequel, of which aspect each person prefers more, based on what they expect from a game of this kind... Lastly, I must say that it is more chilling than scary, if we consider that a video game can evoke such a feeling.
Personally, I have played both games in the series and I am truly impressed and amazed by the result both times! (The first one, just to understand, I had it on the PS3 and I also bought the limited edition that came out on the PS4). The Evil Within is a masterpiece that did not receive the recognition it deserved and unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any indication that a third one will be released. As for the game: it has borrowed elements from Resident Evil and Silent Hill, but manages to bring something original. The graphics are average in the first one, but fantastic in the second. The gameplay is quite good and the story is incredible in both! The atmosphere is ideal for a game of this genre and honestly, I think it is the best in our era, along with the Resident Evil 2 remake and 7, of course. A game that should not be missing from your collection if you enjoy these types of games. The price is very low for what it offers. I hope I helped
In some scenes, it is difficult and stressful to the point where you give up. You definitely don't give up out of boredom. The first one was much better, but that's how it happens with most sequels.
Very nice gameplay, good storyline, and most of the characters are very well made. It has some bugs but they don't bother me much (e.g. a zombie can float or be stuck inside a wall). The influences from Silent Hill and PT are evident, but also from Hannibal (anyone who sees the villain will understand). I would recommend it to fans of horror games
Positives
+ Exciting survival experience
+ Enjoyable (and clever) boss battles
+ Satisfying hero upgrade system
+ Much more understandable storyline compared to the first one
+ Strong doses of psychological horror
+ Top-notch sound effects
+ Secondary missions are few but meaningful and seamlessly tied to the story
+ Honest duration
Negatives
- Poorly designed stealth mechanism
[When you're hidden and want to throw a bottle, you can't see properly]
The first one was darker and scarier. The graphics are somewhat bright and intense, reminding me of a two-year-old child's tempera painting. The story is nice but somewhat boring at certain points.
*The most annoying thing was Castellanos' clumsiness, no matter how many tumbles he took or how he turned upside down, he couldn't detach from his box!
At first, I would say that it is a boring game. As it progresses, it becomes awesome. The camera is a problem, but you get used to it quickly. Better than No.1, nice graphics and with headphones the sound is amazing. The gameplay reminds me of Last of Us. To enjoy the game, I would recommend it in easy mode. For the 12 Euros I bought it, it is definitely worth it. I would highly recommend this game to everyone.
A very good horror game with its terrifying moments and a lot of action. However, the first one doesn't come close to it in any case
Impressive game only for old-school horror fans. It's a mix of the good old PS1 horror games era. Amazing atmosphere, easy character menu, imaginative bosses. The game is enjoyable from beginning to end without any dull moments. It could have better graphics in terms of textures, a slightly better camera (it turns somewhat slowly and makes aiming difficult), and the character should run more smoothly and not like running on sand. 9/10
Very good, just like its predecessor, dark with a great atmosphere. Nice story, although the previous one had slightly better, nice graphics, nice music.
Very enjoyable game. Nice story, continues in a quite interesting way from the previous one, very good choice to make it a little more open world, pleasant controls and combat system.
Mixing gameplay The Last Of Us 70% with the sick spirits 30% of the classic old silent hill from ps1. What else can I say... incredible game! Get it yesterday!
Those who have played the previous game, 99% came to orgasm after chapter 2. The game has improved immensely. Just get it without a second thought, it's worth it. The only annoying but at the same time, trademark thing is the camera which is a bit bad but you get used to it.
The game is a step up from its predecessor. Very nice graphics, especially on the PS4 Pro which supports enhanced functionality for 1080p at 60fps. To put it simply, it was what I expected. It's sick, just like the first one. A chaos in the mind of the protagonist Sebastian and a great horror adventure until he completes his mission. Beautiful dialogues and words. Those who played the first one should definitely grab the second one because it blends perfectly with the first. The reason I give it 4 stars is because the camera handling was a bit annoying. Of course, you get used to it, but it was something I noticed. I highly recommend it.
One of the best survivor horror games I have played, reminiscent of Silent Hill, after Alan Wake and RE 1, 2, 4 (all Silent Hill games, of course) I haven't played anything noteworthy in terms of horror atmosphere. You can easily replay it after some time.
You hear Sebastian constantly saying... what that... what that... what that.. what that........ Okay, at some points I got scared but, the game has nothing better than the first one. They ruined it! Also, the first one has better graphics. This one almost shows them falsely.
Awesome game! From the scenario to the gameplay and from the graphics to the horror it provided in a cinematic way, FANTASTIC!
For those disappointed that Resident Evil 7 is only in first person, like myself, the answer is one: The Evil Within 2. Nice game, satisfying ng+, the unlimited ammo feature of RE is only available if you complete the game in classic mode here. Although relatively short in duration, it pleased me a lot. The only complaint is the distance from the monsters, the bullets didn't even affect them at close range, I had to maintain some distance to have any results with the weapons. Also, be careful with the version that includes the last chance pack, the code doesn't work as I mentioned in the "ask about the product" section.
What can we say, guys? The game is an amazing horror survival game. The story is very good, the gameplay is excellent, and there are moments of terror and big battles. If I have to make a comparison with Resident Evil 7, which is the big rival in this kind of games, I would say that Resident Evil is scarier, but The Evil Within has better gameplay and overall satisfies your gaming needs. Wonderful
The game is truly amazing! It has great graphics, an awesome atmosphere, and sound! It is much better than the first one, and it has a story that keeps you hooked until the end! It's worth its money!
One thing I have to say is that it is better than its predecessor, it has more weapons and also the crafting system has been added..!!
The game is epic. Much superior to the first one in terms of graphics, sound, plot, and overall experience. The only negative aspect is some mediocre voice acting. For those who are not familiar with the series, it is a survival horror game with very intense and disturbing scenes and situations. Especially this one reminded me of Silent Hill in several points. The game's duration is around 19-22 hours, so you will have plenty of gameplay. In terms of gameplay, it has the same core as the first one (upgrades-stealth-action). Overall, I did not expect it to be this good and it pleasantly surprised me. Along with R.E7, I consider it the best horror game of the year and a candidate for game of the year in general. Those who enjoy horror-mystery games with a strong plot will love it.
Rating: 9/10
Awesome game, I hope the third one comes out soon! Even though it's an old game, it surpasses many modern ones
