The red SWIMTRAINER "Classic" is used for getting familiar with water and learning the correct leg movements (frog kick). This SWIMTRAINER "Classic" is designed for babies and toddlers weighing from approximately 6 kg to approximately 18 kg and is intended for beginners.
Gives children the necessary sense of achievement, a lot of swimming fun, and a good sense of security in the water at every stage of their development. In this way, the foundations for successful swimming learning are laid early on, and a lifelong positive relationship with the water element is created.
The specially designed swim aids are used according to the child's age and learning progress (red, orange, and yellow). The SWIMTRAINER "Classic" provides targeted early support even at the baby age. The technique training based on this ultimately leads to the perfect swimming style.
The SWIMTRAINER "Classic" offers children:

Excellent experience with the product!
I read many comments that the child does not have the correct position and leans forward and that if the child turns, they cannot return to the original position and other such things.
AHH I really want to curse but I won't do it.
FIRST! It states in the instructions that you should not leave the child unattended when wearing the life jacket!
And SECOND and most importantly, this life jacket is not for the child to float stationary. BUT FOR THEM TO LEARN TO SWIM! It is intentionally designed so that the child leans forward, moves their arms and legs, so they can move in the water! Also, the guy who designed it designed it for use in a pool! It makes sense for it not to be so stable with waves. Especially when the main reason for use is to learn stability in the water from the user!
Anyway, we really enjoyed it with our 6-9 month old baby. I had to deflate a bit of the outer chamber for their little hands to reach the water. This year, it will probably need more air.
I highly recommend it to any parents who want their child to move on their own in the water ALWAYS under the supervision of an adult who can read basic instructions.
It was purchased in May and was used 3 times, for only a few minutes each time as the baby didn't like it. The last time I tried it, I noticed that the clasp was broken. I requested an exchange, but it was refused even though it has a 6-month warranty from the date of purchase!
The clasp broke on the first day. I changed it, same thing again. I had the orange one, nothing like the yellow. Get the orange one again regardless of age.
I got it when the baby was 8-9 months old and couldn't float properly. His head was leaning forward and he was falling all the way in while he is not very weak. I hope it will work out next year.
it is not for up to 4 years with ANYTHING! it might not even be for 2... generally, our child DID NOT want it, we put it on from 6 months and also tried it at 15 months...
We bought two and both tore at the seam....wasted money.... I should have just bought 10 from Jumbo...
It will help your baby, no matter how small, to find the right position in the water. With a little persistence on how to move their legs, they learn to swim. We used it from 9 months old and it was very enjoyable for the baby, unlike all the others, and of course, it was very useful for the minor as it allowed them to swim a little deeper.
really dangerous for children.. it was also crooked and wouldn't straighten no matter what.. heavy for children up to 3 years old. big scam..
At first, we put it on wrong and with the slightest movement, the baby would turn upside down. Once it was positioned correctly, it was fine. It doesn't flip over with waves or sudden movements, but someone always needs to be with the baby; we never leave it alone. He is two years old, weighs 13 kg, and it fits him perfectly. Almost immediately, he started moving his little legs, and now he turns and goes wherever he wants, and when he gets tired, he just relaxes in the float without doing anything.
The baby is slowly sinking. The white wavy piece that holds the baby is losing air and the safety latch that is like a little door doesn't close. Defective product.
It is our first life jacket. Overall, we were satisfied. It keeps our child stable (18 months old) and helps him make his first swimming moves. BUT let's not get carried away, it does not cover the range of sizes supported by the company, unless we have baby-hobbits! Ours is 18 months old and weighs 13 kilos, so it fits him nicely this year. I don't see it working for next year unless his belly shrinks from walking-running!
It's a shame... we had the red life jacket for 3 years and it still looks like new... now it probably fell on a defective one - deflates after a day of use, unacceptable for its price!
We bought it for our seven month old baby who weighed 7 kg at the time, although it is good material and it floats nicely, it seemed that our baby was very small for it and falling towards the front. Maybe it fits better next summer, when the baby will be bigger.
Very bad. The baby slips no matter how securely you have tied it, with the risk of drinking water. It is free to move its legs, yes, but what can you do when you constantly have to lift it up? Everyone advertises it on Instagram and we rush to buy it. I really wish it was convenient for some people.
I have it for my 8-month-old baby. It is very useful in the pool as the baby can easily move his little feet and has his freedom.
This life jacket is very dangerous because it flips very easily backwards (from the side where the child's legs are) and the child ends up with their head in the water and their legs in the air, unable to turn around. My child flipped over at 8 months old and this year - when we made the mistake of putting it on him again - at 20 months old.
9-month-old baby normal weight.. constantly sliding because the sides do not tighten, which swell and there is no seat underneath, so it constantly slides and someone has to hold the baby from below or constantly lift it... not convenient for us at all...
Very nice life jacket for learning to swim indeed! It is of course for the child. The little one has enjoyed it, the big one no longer wants to go into the sea so he doesn't even want the life jacket.
The child leans forward and drinks water frequently. You have to constantly hold it from below to support it, and if a wave comes, it splashes in the face. Also, it does not have instructions for proper placement. It is not worth its money...
We had 2 identical products for our 18-month-old twins. In one of the products, the baby sits correctly and everything is fine. At the same time, the same baby cannot sit properly in the second product, to the point where it is dangerous.
It is tragic for 2 identical products to have such different functionality. Especially when we are talking about a life jacket.
Generally, our baby is at a normal weight and I tried several times to put it on as the instructions say. At first, it sits but then it seems like its body slides backwards and ends up not being parallel to the water, almost vertically. I bought it for about 16-17 euros and even those seem like a lot to me, let alone others who bought it for 20, 25, 30. I would prefer to buy a simple life jacket with a seat from the INTEX company for much less money and it will definitely be more convenient.
If your child is younger than a year and below the weight limit, it might do the job. For us, at 15 months and 10.5 kilograms, it felt borrowed and because it has a strange clasp, it broke on the first use. It ended up in a beach trash can 10 minutes after opening the package. Prefer something else...
Chinese product that unfortunately you pay a lot for its poor quality.... In the second bathroom, at a beach with sand, it got punctured from the bottom side
We bought two life jackets, the first size, as the children are twins. The first year everything was fine. This year both have holes exactly in the same spot, at the seam, and we can no longer use them as it is logical. Unacceptable for the amount of money they cost. This year they gave us the same as a gift, I will observe it and I will come back. The first two were of the same construction year, the third is more recent.
26-06-2024 And the third one got a hole in the same spot. I have thrown away three so far. Unacceptable for the money it costs.
There is a point inside that you need to inflate in order to support the baby's chest on the surface. This point is very difficult to inflate (the cells are few and small and the air is lost before you manage to close the valve), resulting in the baby not floating as it should.
We bought it for our 14-month-old baby! We used it for the first time yesterday and as soon as we put him in, the mattress turned towards the front, causing him to lean forward and almost reach the water with his mouth. Throughout the bath, I had to hold the front part to keep him sufficiently above the surface and prevent him from drinking water. I was disappointed... I chose it for its publicity, but it didn't suit us at all.
If it flips over with the child inside, it cannot turn back and a 2-year-old child remains with their head in the water and the life jacket on top. Very very very careful and only right next to the child. Also, the fastening broke in the first few days and now the little one just holds it. It is not for me.
Very bad in the joints connections. It came off and released air from there. If you put it correctly, the child takes a good position. Otherwise, not good
We have had it for 3 years and have been using it on our child since they were 3 months old. It has held up perfectly for all 3 years. It has not deflated, flipped over, punctured, or experienced any issues. The only downside is that the child tends to slip a bit if they don't sit properly sometimes. Ideally, I would like it to have a strap around the body. However, I haven't found anything better on the market.
Note: If your mother-in-law is like mine, this is an option that will make her furious because "it doesn't have a seat and the child will suffocate and it's terrible, etc."
For 6 months it is not .... for us, meaning it did not work for us. I hope this year, when we will be older, it will work for us!
The protective cover of the fastening broke on the second use.
The child can float comfortably. If worn correctly, it is difficult to overturn.
This life jacket was very useful for my son, who is two and something. It is smaller than the corresponding red one, which is for a younger age, but this one is more convenient for easier movements in the sea without any issues with floating. The only negative thing is that it deflates quite a bit every day and we have to inflate it again, possibly it is defective. Otherwise, I haven't encountered any problems in the sea.
Update after 2 months of use: I replaced the defective life jacket through Skroutz and the new one does not have the same issue. It has remained inflated as I inflated it. So, everything is good!
