Fiber-reinforced, cement-based adhesive, enhanced with resins that provide exceptional elasticity, high adhesion, and bonding strength to expanded (EPS) or extruded (XPS) polystyrene insulation boards, rock wool, polyurethane, cork, etc., on concrete walls, plaster, bricks, or cement blocks. The adhesive meets the requirements of ETAG 004 for external thermal insulation systems and is part of the THERMOSEAL external thermal insulation system of buildings by DUROSTICK as a polystyrene bonding and base coating product, certified by the notified European Institute OIB with numbers ETA-13/0006 and ETA-13/0007. It is classified in the category GP:CS IV / W2 according to EN 998-1.

Applications:

• In external thermal insulation systems of buildings (ETICS), it is suitable both for bonding the insulation boards to the facades of buildings and for coating them in combination with the DS-4160 thermal facade reinforcement fiberglass mesh by DUROSTICK.
• ULTRACOLL THERMO is recommended for the COOL ROOF SYSTEM for roof thermal insulation with 3-5cm expanded or extruded polystyrene boards, covering them with D-6 or 2-4cm thick cement mortar, and coating with DUROSTICK HYDROSTOP ROOF or HYDROSTOP 2-component waterproof cementitious elastic mortar over the cement mortar. This creates a tested thermal insulation and waterproofing system with a long lifespan.

Consumption:
2.5 - 4 kg / m² as adhesive, depending on the trowel and substrate.
1.5 kg / m² per mm for covering the fiberglass mesh.
