Very good machine, high quality, quiet, and most importantly, it doesn't fill the place with steam like most others. Very good application and the extra aroma button, where with the press of it, it slowly pours the water and the coffee becomes richer in taste and aroma (of course, it increases the brewing time of the coffee). Relatively small carafe, but it covers us (three full cups). High quality and beautiful device with the guarantee of Kenwood, but definitely very expensive for a French coffee maker.
Unfortunately, although it is a very beautiful machine, the carafe has a design flaw. And that is not the only problem. There are gaps in the lid (in the areas that come into contact with the glass) which result in steam escaping, leading to condensation. It is tragic to see a carafe dripping on the side exterior walls in an upright position! I have also seen similar comments from other users, and even the replacement carafe did not help. In the Amazon reviews, there are the same complaints from some users, plus the fact that despite cleaning it very often, it now takes incredibly long to brew a cup of coffee. It is designed to shut off at 45 minutes, and the coffee is not ready yet! I have to start it again to complete the process. It is completely inefficient energy-wise for someone who makes coffee 3 or 4 times a day. Unfortunately, I read the comments on Amazon much later. I do not know how often the people who have written all these positive comments here use this machine, but personally, I would not recommend it to anyone. The idea that you get what you pay for does not apply here. It is a waste of money and wasted kilowatt-hours as well. Such a shame.
Good quality and beautiful appearance are always a welcome combination. The small size and rectangular shape make it convenient on the countertop and inside the cupboard. In two years of use, I have not encountered steam leakage issues (which other users mention), and the steam seems to exit controllably from the hole at the top (it doesn't smoke up the place). It may take a little while, but it's worth it for the aroma. The water quantity indicators are hard to read, so the basic characteristics should state "For up to 6 small coffee cups." The price seems to be for the English, not for the Scots!
So much money for a coffee maker that constantly leaks, the worst coffee pot for such a name, it shouldn't have been like this. Also, you have to measure the water you put in because it simply doesn't have an external indicator or any transparency to see how much water it needs. I wouldn't buy it again, I wouldn't recommend it.
Excellent material quality, fast water flow, and aromatic coffee. The durability will be shown in the future, but if I take the kettle of the same series as an example, I think it is a one-way street to buy it, as long as you don't care about making more than 3 cups of coffee.
The best coffee I have ever had from a home coffee maker. If I had to nitpick for a negative, it would be my doubt about whether the lid of the pot will withstand for many years. Other than that, the coffee maker is great value for money. Excellent coffee with no trace of coffee grounds in the pot.

The coffee maker continues to make fantastic coffee. If more than three people in your household or space drink coffee, you will need to make another batch as it doesn't have enough for a fourth cup. But it's still better to make another batch than to throw it away. For me, it continues to be the top choice
It is the ideal coffee maker for those who make small quantities of coffee (2-3 cups for one or two people). The problem I had with many other coffee makers was that in order to make a quality coffee, you had to fill the container with at least four cups and essentially half of the coffee would go to waste. The Kenwood delivers very good coffee while saving on the amount of coffee you consume. Relatively expensive at the initial purchase, but ultimately cost-effective. The temperature of the coffee is excellent and with the aroma function (which I use constantly), the taste is exactly as you want it. The coffee preparation takes a little longer, but it's acceptable. I cannot comment on durability because I have only had it for two months. However, as for construction, it is very sturdy and well-made. I had an issue with the aroma button from the beginning, but it works so I didn't bother with it much, mainly because I was compensated by the quality of the coffee!
Excellent coffee maker, I had the previous model for 15 years, and it broke so we got the new one that looks very similar to the old one but has a more rounded design.
I had decided to get a good coffee maker. Although it has plastic parts, its quality is excellent and you can't tell unless you touch it (unlike a much more expensive one I wanted to buy until I saw it up close). It has an excellent carafe that doesn't drip a single drop. If there's something missing, it's the programming feature which I don't really need. The button that changes the strength of the coffee makes a big difference. A very good purchase!!!
I bought the coffee maker 3 days ago! As for the design, it is very beautiful! The carafe is small but ideal for me (it serves 3 people)! As for the speed, I would say it is slow! In terms of taste and aroma, it is top-notch! The construction is perfect, it is not entirely made of plastic! A negative aspect is that the top lid gets stuck and you can easily burn yourself! Another negative aspect for me is that the water you pour in is not visible, the plastic is also gray, so you don't know how much water you need, you don't know if the water has run out, etc! The price is not at all friendly! However, if it doesn't break, I think it is a top purchase! And I have bought many!
Very satisfied with the purchase. Quality, impeccable design, small coffee maker and user-friendly. The coffee doesn't burn, it retains its aroma and flavor.
It automatically turns off after 40 minutes, resulting in the coffee waiting getting cold. There should be a setting and option for the shutdown time; you just find yourself pressing the power button every 40 minutes.
Also, the carafe has a small capacity; it makes 3 full cups of coffee, which is not enough when you call your friends over; you have to make additional batches.
The heating element burned out after occasional use for 3 years.
On the positive side, obviously the design; it is a beautiful coffee maker but with many negatives.
Very good filter coffee maker. Beautiful but a bit expensive compared to others!!! Nice and high-quality construction. Very fast and has an option to give more aroma but produces less coffee, I have noticed. Be careful, it is small and makes up to 3 large cups of coffee. I hope I helped.
I chose it because I have other appliances from the Kmix series. I have had it for a total of 2.5 years. The first time it broke was over time and after 1 month (due to lack of spare parts) they repaired it at the service center (within warranty) and I got it back.
Now it has started taking a very long time to make coffee, even though I frequently descale it and generally take good care of it.

Although it has a very small container and one cannot make a lot of coffee, it is excellent in aroma and coffee flavor. It is also beautiful and, if one does not need large quantities of coffee, it is an excellent choice

It is very beautiful and we thought it would also be of good quality, that's why we chose it... after a month of occasional use, it went to the repair shop and now, after 4 years, we have another problem with only 5 uses per year... resistance!!!
Also, a disadvantage is the small capacity...
Excellent coffee aroma, nice design, elegant, doesn't take up much space, doesn't fill the kitchen with steam, when you remove the carafe, the coffee flow automatically stops. The plastic parts of the carafe and the interior of the coffee maker seem a bit fragile in construction. I bought it on sale for 74 euros. Intended for use with 3 to 4 full cups of coffee.
After one year (4/1/2020): despite continuous descaling of the machine, the coffee flow is slow. 2) In the sixth month, the button for the second option for a more aromatic coffee does not work.
The coffee maker is nice in appearance, it has a lightweight carafe. Now, as for the taste and aroma of the coffee, it is good but not significantly different from others..... I believe it is a bit expensive, but you are mostly paying for having a gem+ in your kitchen!!!
