Description
Armarima: A modular composition consisting of eight parts, in each of which D.B Foxmoor gives voice to an equal number of authors from a broad chronological and genre spectrum of world literature. In order of "appearance," William Shakespeare, Francisco Gomez de Quevedo, Matsuo Basho, Rigas Feraios, Percy Shelley, Emily Dickinson, Rainer Maria Rilke, Adonis (Ali Ahmad Said Esber), take the floor and narrate moments of their lives and adventures in the world.
According to the note "Instead of a preface," Armarima is an unknown and mysterious being. It is the child of poetry, which is why in this self-contained rhapsody its mother, poetry, speaks first. Armarima is born and dies eight times in different eras and places around the world, and hides within the poets. B.D. Foxmoor, in his quest for the right heroes, carefully selects the poets of his rhapsody. He is guided by their actions and lives, and records here their apology to eternity. After all, the text is set in a continuous journey through time, revealing many trends and versions of contemporary poetry. Armarima is the last child of poetry, who thinks, dreams, feels, and always escapes, until the next time. Then the mother's curse will be broken, and a verse will change everything.
