GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

Smaltoplast Silk is a certified eco-friendly plastic paint, odorless, for indoor use with a velvety matte finish suitable for walls, ceilings, drywall, plasters, etc. It is hard to stain and cleans very easily.

Its composition protects the paint film from the growth of microorganisms (bacteria and fungi) offering excellent antimicrobial action. Ideal for areas with high humidity levels.

• Prevents the penetration, growth, and reproduction of microorganisms in the paint film.
• Minimizes the possibility of allergic reactions (hypoallergenic).
• Stains are difficult to set in, and it cleans and washes very easily.

Smaltoplast Silk has been awarded by the British Allergy Foundation.

It is evaluated by the Paint Research Association (PRA – UK) as a paint with antimicrobial action.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

• Gloss level: Velvety matte with a gloss level of 4–8 units at 60°.
• Specific Weight: 1.30–1.40 kg/lt, depending on the shade.
• Coverage: 12–14 m2 /lt per coat, depending on the surface.
• Dilution: 10–15% by volume with water.
• VOC Category: “Matte coatings for interior walls and ceilings.”
• Type Y: VOC limit value = 30gr/lt.
• Maximum VOC content of the ready-to-use product = 6.5 gr/lt.
