This particular camera has been discontinued since 2019 as the wifi connection does not work, resulting in no way to upload the 360 videos to the GoPro Quick App. Practically, it is useless for me until GoPro fixes its desktop app and I can transfer my files from there. I requested a return as faulty software, which was not accepted. Skroutz did not help much, and I gave up, just like the camera that is sitting on the shelf. Do not buy it.

I bought it last year when it was much more expensive. The construction is very solid and durable. It is relatively heavy. It is completely waterproof without having to go to great depths, usually I have it on my surfboard on the SUP. The videos have very good quality in sunny conditions. Apart from the 360 videos, you can create two-dimensional videos from the 360 material and direct them again! This is its great advantage. The automatic stitching is not always accurate. It can be affected by colors and the tilt when it is supported. The photos are very clear. The wireless connection with the mobile or tablet is problematic. Many disconnections. Many resets. The hero 7 also experiences this. The connection with the smart remote of the same company is also problematic. Also, a drop of water can stay on its lenses and ruin the image without you realizing it, even though the lenses have an oleophobic coating. It goes without saying that you need to have a second battery with you.
