  I bought it for crafting, not for cables and related (I have another one), it cuts everything smoothly: round leather-nylon cords (without "chewing" them), thick fabric, even plastic and fringe!
  The spring for the return function is very helpful, it is not as it appears in the photo (it is more recessed inside) and I don't know how long it will last, of course.
  For its price, it is awesome.
