The Birkenstock Gizeh is a genuine classic and an elegant sandal. The elegant sandal combines optimal grip with a minimalist, modern design. With its additional foam layer, the soft footbed offers extra comfort. The upper is made from high-quality nubuck leather that features a natural, rustic look.

Upper material: Birko-Flor® Nubuck

The look and feel of Birko-Flor® Nubuck is an almost perfect imitation of genuine nubuck leather.

Insole: Natural leather

Natural leather can be recognized by its raw surface. Birkenstock intentionally does not process the surface grains and other characteristics. Birkenstock uses sturdy leather with a thickness of 2.8 to 3.2 millimeters as the upper material.

Substrate Material: Cork

Cork is a sustainable material extracted from the bark layer of the cork oak tree. This natural product is insulating and offers very good shock absorption.

Outsole: EVA

EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) is a high-quality, very lightweight, elastic material with excellent shock absorption. As a result, it smooths out small floor irregularities and ensures that every step is softly cushioned.
