The Nikon camera lens truly conveys the sense of a landscape by broadening the entire scene. It is an ultra-wide-angle zoom lens ideal for stunning landscapes, urban settings, architecture, as well as for interiors or simple group photos.
It features almost silent autofocus operation and VR image stabilization (Vibration Reduction), making it an excellent choice for video recording. Additionally, its compact and lightweight design makes it an excellent companion for any trip.
Framing the perfect shot is now easier than ever
The ultra-wide focal length of 10-20 mm makes it easier to expand space, create exaggerated perspectives, and intense compositions. No longer do you need to step back to fit the landscape. At the same time, the minimum focusing distance of 0.22 m provides the ability to capture close-up shots where your subject fills the frame.
Travel with lightweight gear
Its compact design makes this wide-angle zoom lens the ideal companion for Nikon's versatile high-resolution DX-format DSLRs. Weighing just 230 grams (approximately), this lens is user-friendly and easy to carry.
Designed to take full advantage of the high-resolution sensor of the DSLR, it enables the capture of beautiful photos and videos wherever you are.
Unique Clarity
Enjoy rich, vibrant colors and edge-to-edge clarity.
Capture shots without worrying about unwanted reflections from strong light sources. This lens ensures top-notch sharpness and contrast across the entire frame, even when shooting under intense sunlight or backlight.
The distortion typically observed in wide-angle lenses is well controlled, mainly due to the optical construction that includes three aspherical lens elements. Whether you are taking photos or videos, Nikon's Vibration Reduction (VR) function helps ensure blur-free images and sharper shots in low-light conditions.
Focus on your subject with absolute precision
The almost completely silent autofocus operation allows you to record video without capturing unwanted focusing sounds. Nikon's AF-P series lenses include a stepping motor mechanism that moves the focus quickly, smoothly, and quietly.
When you zoom in to take a photo, you can focus on subjects with absolute precision. When shooting video footage, the mechanism allows you to smoothly shift focus from subject to subject with virtually no noise.
Add special touches to your video shots
Compose shots of vast landscapes with ease, giving viewers the feeling that they are inside your video. Create depth, show more of a landscape, or simply use the ultra-wide perspective when shooting video in small spaces. You can use the exclusive focus ring to ensure precise manual control: slowly and smoothly shift the focus from the foreground to the background or vice versa.

A lens that gives you a strange perspective on photography. According to the price (340), it is mediocre, as a more representative price would be about seventy euros less, because:
a) it distorts the image quite a bit at the corners (oval),
b) the colors come out more colorless,
c) the sharpness is average.
All of the above can be improved quite a bit with editing, but everyone knows that the above work is a boring part.
Lightweight and made of good quality plastic, sharp and clear images, perfect for photographing buildings and landscapes. I also include some photos that I took on the day I got it and tested it.
Excellent lens, works perfectly with the D3300 after the quick and easy software update through the Nikon website. VR can be activated or deactivated in seconds from the menu and manual focus override is immediately available with the high-quality focus ring, so the lack of dedicated switches on the lens body is not a problem. Nikon's durability and build quality will not be an issue for amateur to regular use. The ultra-wide frame provides a different perspective and unique shots that would not otherwise be possible. It performs perfectly between f8 and f11 with excellent sharpness from 10 to 18mm and minimal (welcome for me) distortion from 10 to 14mm. Flawless, fast, and silent autofocus, excellent performance even in contra-light situations (quality coatings), with the standard lens hood doing a good job. In compositions with a large depth of field, focusing obviously requires some attention, but if there is a tripod and time for hyperfocal distance or measurement, handheld situations and quick clicks only require playing with the 11 focus points of the D3300. Extremely lightweight and compact, approximately the same size as the 18-55 kit lens, making it an absolutely travel-friendly lens in combination with its consistently excellent to very good performance throughout its range, its plug and play ease of use, and of course its incredibly low price. It is a "demanding" lens that requires skill, study, and practice, but in combination with the similarly affordable Nikon 35mm prime lens, it makes you a better photographer. These two lenses, combined with any entry-level camera, expand photographic horizons, sharpen compositional ability, and I highly recommend them. All the photos accompanying the review were taken without a tripod and without VR.
The lens was purchased for amateur use. For me, the 18 to 10mm didn't seem like a big difference between them, but there is greater sharpness than the kit lens. The autofocus is at satisfactory levels, I didn't see the slightest flaw. Personally, I quite like the lens and I intend to use it a lot.
For its price, the lens is excellent, especially for amateur use. There is a huge difference of 10mm compared to the 18mm of the Kit lens. The distortion is at reasonable levels.
With the current cashback price (€279), it is worth..
a very good lens, quiet and fast autofocus..
The sharpness is moderate throughout the aperture range..
