  The pliers, apart from being forged together with the tool during assembly, its position has been redesigned and is located a few millimeters closer to the cutting point. This movement, according to Knipex, requires 35% less force application from the user during the cutting effort. In other words, with less energy, and therefore less fatigue, more work is produced. I don't know if the manufacturer's claim is true to the percentage mentioned, but what is certain is that with this pliers (0202200), it is noticeably easier to cut anything within its specifications. Since I am the owner of both tools (0202200 and 0302200), I prefer this one with the high leverage compared to the "regular" one, as the price difference is not significant.

  And just from the feeling it gives you when you hold it, you understand that we are talking about a quality tool. The brand is not randomly high on the list for pliers. I regretted taking so long to choose it.

  11/3/23: 3+ years of daily use and the pliers, apart from a little normal wear on the handles, have not made a single scratch! It still cuts single wire with a diameter of 1mm with the same ease as it cuts a 4mm grounding wire. Amazing tool!
