Although it appears sturdy, it is not actually so. I had quite a difficult time assembling it (one of the two had a corner with incorrect dimensions, which resulted in me not being able to fit it properly and frustrating me when I tried to straighten it). The plastic parts are very sensitive and break easily. I bought two for light indoor use. I don't know how well they would hold up for use in a garden.
