The impact rod replaces the umbrella pole that forms its base.
It is divided into two parts. The upper half, which is the heavy part, reciprocates, striking with its weight the remaining lower part, functioning like a hammer. Thus, the lower part, which has a pointed tip, is driven into the ground without any significant force or effort.
Then we tighten with a clamp and place our umbrella just as we would place it in its own base.
