"Spanish in Practice" (one volume (ISBN: 960-6604-94-2) and four CDs (ISBN: 960-6604-93-5)) is a fast-paced audiovisual method for learning Spanish, aiming to introduce readers to the Spanish language, spoken by millions of people worldwide, as well as to Spanish culture. The primary goal of the method is to present material that meets the needs of the adult student who wishes - without a teacher - to learn and master the Spanish language to a satisfactory degree, and to express themselves fluently in both simple and more complex communicative situations.

This method consists of 30 chapters which include:
- The Spanish alphabet, the pronunciation of sounds in different environments, accentuation rules, and punctuation marks.
- Dialogues and texts that cover a variety of stylistic expressions and introduce the reader to various cultural and historical aspects of Spain and the countries of Central and South America.
- Adequate description of grammatical and syntactical phenomena, which are presented progressively and accompanied by a series of exercises.
- Rich vocabulary, accompanied by pronunciation representation.
- Translations of the texts, solutions to the exercises, and a recap of the material through summary tables and multiple-choice review exercises.
- Understanding and correctly learning the official Spanish pronunciation is ensured through the parallel use of the book and the CDs, which were recorded by native Spanish speakers and contain readings of the texts, vocabulary, and part of the grammar.
- The functionality of the method is based on the combination of written and audio material, which contribute to the comprehensive and substantial learning of the Spanish language.
