I have had it for several years, around 6 if I'm not mistaken, I have literally worn it out.. with a lot of daily use and it doesn't break.. it's worth its money.
Flawless operation every time. Daily use, especially in winter, 3-4 times for coffee, tea, or boiling water for cooking. Rarely catches salts, has exceptional materials in the base, the lid seals perfectly, has a bright indicator and automatic shut-off once the water is ready. I bought it in 2016 and it lasted until now when the heating element broke. I highly recommend it.
Attention, in order to close the lid, it does not require a hit but simultaneous pressing of the button located on the handle, with pushing of the lid.
Quality construction, nice vibrant color, boils quickly, with an illuminated switch that automatically stops when the water boils. However, sometimes the lid doesn't close properly... unless I hit it with force. This is a problem I encountered with a previous model as well...
Excellent quality-price ratio, boils water very quickly and does not easily accumulate salt. Very useful and user-friendly kettle, and in a good size/water capacity.
It takes a little time to boil the water, but it's not something that discourages you from buying it. It has a large capacity, but it needs a good wash before the first use because its materials smell.
I have had it for about a year. For the past few months, the on-off switch under the handle started to not be pressed, meaning it doesn't make a "click" to start heating the water. After many repetitions, much pressure, many attempts (how many different ways can there be to press a switch???) and of course, a lot of frustration, it may remember to work. It may not. It's a gamble to boil water! It may not present the problem again for many days. The switch is a simple cheap plastic one and I'm sure it will break at some point.
Salt does not dissolve, but this also depends on the water in each area. Also, one of its positives is that it does not make noise. Very good indeed, but expensive! I bought it only for its color because I wanted it to match the rest of my coffee machine, espresso maker, frappe maker, etc. The previous one I had cost 10 euros, bought from Masoutis, and it lasted me 4 years until it slipped from my hands and broke. However, so far I have nothing negative to say about this particular one.
