The new Airfusion Akmani ceiling fan with a DC motor uses approximately 40% less electrical energy while producing the same airflow compared to an AC fan.
The DC motor offers the possibility of low rotation speeds, which combined with the winter reverse blade function, results in energy savings by bringing the accumulated heat from the ceiling down to the lower level of the space.
With the capability of reverse blade direction operation, the fan can be used in winter to bring down the accumulated heat from the ceiling to the lower level of the space. This achieves better uniformity in the distribution of air heat, resulting in further savings on heating costs without reducing the level of comfort.
A ceiling fan operating in the reverse direction (clockwise) during winter transfers warm air from the ceiling to the lower layers of the space.

It's not worth its money. 430€ without light, without last function memory, with mediocre controller. The low speeds do not perform. Essentially, it works from 3 and onwards. It does not provide the expected airflow for its category. This one went to the living room. I have bought a slightly smaller one (132 cm diameter) for the bedroom and it has EVERYTHING (light with settings, fan performance from 1, last setting memory even if the main switch is turned off, of course DC) with better aesthetic result and cost of 130€!!!! Don't be fooled by the "wood" on the blades. They are fake, particularly fragile, resulting in a small drop of a blade from the sofa leading to a piece breaking off from the inner corner!!!
High-quality construction, quiet, very stable mechanism when operating.
It is worth the money and more.
