It is not for many. Very cheap construction, it is just design-oriented. I would recommend it for a vacation home and not for everyday use. Philips, with half the price, has a far superior quality toaster.
Terrible! It takes way too long to cook.
I have two other ones that cost 15 euros each and they cook at least four times faster!

It toasts according to the degree you set it. So, depending on the thickness of the bread, it requires a corresponding temperature. For example, toast bread at the highest setting will come out black. So, you have the option. I haven't tried defrosting yet. It collects crumbs in a drawer underneath. Overall, it's perfect. It could be more economical, but you pay for the retro color and design.

As for the functionality, it is very practical and lightweight, it toasts very nicely and crisply. It has 6 temperature settings (the bread slices in my photo were toasted at level 3 - crispy, not burnt or undercooked - which is ideal for me, but tastes vary).
For those who freeze bread, it also has a defrost function.
I also like that it heats up and cools down very quickly, it has a tray on its "floor" for crumbs that comes out, and it is very convenient that the cable can be attached to the bottom so it doesn't get in the way. I bought it for 47€.
