Very expensive in Greece.
Get it from abroad. (Calculate about -100€ lower)
For the product, I couldn't say anything less since I also have the K95 XT Platinum (with Blue Cherry MX).
It's a beast. I just wanted something more convenient for traveling.Translated from Greek ·- Key feel

Did you find this review helpful?Starting, I will explain why 4 stars and not 5.
The price, no matter how much we want to justify it, is excessive and at some point the TAG "GAMING" should stop being synonymous with "I'm ripping off a vital organ" every time I buy something with special features!
Now let's get to the essentials :)
For those who end up reading this review and know who I am, they have definitely seen this Keyboard appearing in countless of my Streams in the HandCam, and since many have repeatedly asked me about it on Discord and Twitch... I decided to write this review to clear my mind and give you complete feedback :)
I have had this particular Keyboard for over 2 years, using it daily for more than 12 hours a day, not only for Gaming but also for a ton of typing, and it continues to perform flawlessly, accomplishing everything I've "asked" it to do.
With that being said, it's worth mentioning a few things.
- Firstly, the keys have hardly worn out at all, which is a positive sign for me, indicating good plastic quality.
- Secondly, the brightness of the keys, as you can see from the photo, has 3 levels of brightness, allowing everyone to find their sweet spot. Personally, at maximum brightness, it's exactly where it should be for work or gaming in a completely dark environment. Its integration with ICUE is excellent, but I won't focus on that further.
- Thirdly, the registration of the Rapid Fire keys is lightning fast, and a simple touch on the key is enough to register it.
This is a great advantage and headache at the same time until you get used to it, after a loooooot of use, working with the Rapid Fire keys. There will be many times when you will face random registrations just by having your hands on the keys or typos when you start "firing" trying to type something quickly, since, as I mentioned before... a simple touch as your finger passes over the key, if it touches the Key, it will register. And if it affects me, who is almost at a blind typing level... then it will definitely have a strong impact on the average young gamer who still types with their fingers like "hand grenades" and looks at the keyboard at the same time, as if they were looking at one of the seven wonders of the world :D
Long story short... it will take some time to get used to it, but after a while, it will seem normal to you. Definitely, someone who is not used to rapid fire keys should avoid them during the first few days.
- Fourthly, considering what I just mentioned in the "thirdly" part, when your wife is sleeping behind you, you can use the "touch" on the keys as an outlet for silent typing (this requires a little practice kappa), and thus maybe avoid the incident where she has made you go crazy and you want to bring it up to her head! :D (a very big selling point!!!)
- Fifthly, the buttons are easy to insert and remove, and they lack Greek characters on them, which may confuse an infinite typer, as well as the Shift+KEY punctuation marks, etc., as they are printed in reverse compared to any conventional keyboard on the market (if they are not completely absent, like for example ":" and ";" which are Shift+Q and Q respectively when typing in Greek, or the "€" which is Alt+CTRL+E).
- First, the distance between the keys may seem small to many, especially if you are used to the wide keys of a laptop. This can lead to frequent typos. Personally, I like that the keys are small and compact, especially for gaming. It helps a lot, especially if you have large hands, as you can easily move from one side of the keyboard to the other, which is especially helpful in RPG games. This also brings us to the seventh point.
- Seventh, considering that it is a "Ten Key Less" keyboard, also known as TKL, hence the name K65 as it has 65 keys on it... and with these keys being "small" and compact, the keyboard has a very small footprint on the desk. This was actually my initial concern when I was considering buying this keyboard, as it only has what is really necessary, including the essential multimedia keys, without forcing you to use combinations of Function buttons + KEY to adjust the volume, mute, lock the Windows key, etc. As for space for the mouse, it is the maximum that a keyboard can provide unless you go for a solution like a laser keyboard or some futuristic solution. And don't get stuck on keyboards that have Macro Keys, because each button on a keyboard can be turned into a Macro Key with simple software, just like those keyboards with dedicated Macro Keys!
- Eighth, the wrist rest, also known as the pad, which is supposed to provide wrist support and bring your hands to a typing position without having to hang them over the keyboard, is simply useless in my opinion. The only useful part for me is that I can push the keyboard and move it away as much as I want depending on what I'm doing at the time. However, I don't consider this a negative aspect because the keyboard has a low profile and your wrists will naturally find the right height as soon as you rest them on the desk, whether for typing or gaming.
- Ninth, the cable is robust and exactly what you would expect when you invest in a keyboard as the bare minimum. However, it is quite inflexible and a bit cumbersome.
- Tenth, the USB port on the keyboard is really useful and can be used for whatever you need, whether it's for charging or for connecting the receiver of a wireless mouse or the cable of a mouse, so that you never run out of cable and completely eliminate the annoying feeling of pulling on the mouse cable when it has a long distance to cover and is relatively tense.
- Eleventh... The Polling Rate Switch. I don't think that in 2021 anyone needs to consider the CPU usage uplift of a high Polling Rate, considering the CPUs that everyone has in their PCs nowadays. However, if someone is still using a Pentium 4 with Windows 95 on their PC, then the option for a 125Hz polling rate might be useful for a (wired) keyboard that has the capability for 1000Hz and 1ms Polling Rate. One thing is for sure, in this scenario, someone will have a keyboard that is worth more than their entire PC... so, welcome!
The only logic is to address potential incompatibilities and the only substance is the battery consumption if you connect it to a laptop to play with the battery while camping or while in a caravan on a road trip and play so you don't get bored while your parents are driving :D (although in this scenario... you will have more consumption from WiFi than from the 1ms Polling Rate...Bottom Line? It is simply a gimmick, essentially, for the target audience and there, only to give them an excuse to ask for the money they ask for, since everyone will connect it to 1ms and will even forget that it exists!
Now, closing, let me mention the unnecessary gimmicks like embossed keys for W A S D, etc. Personally, I consider it unnecessary, and I will leave it to someone who is interested in those things, to celebrate their existence :)
Is it worth buying?
Answer: Yes, if among the things I mentioned above, this specific keyboard ticks all the boxes for the needs you want to cover through this purchase. Personally, I have found it very versatile and I don't feel the need to look for something else. So if you are like me, close your eyes and since you can't "avoid" the "psychological" aspect... buy it and enjoy it!
That's it....! I hope I covered you, as I usually do, through this review of mine!
See you either on my Twitch channel or on YouTube (Edropian Gaming) if you want more information.P.S: Corsair should make a statue for me for this review, otherwise, they can send samples if they want similar reviews in the future!
Happy shopping!

Did you find this review helpful?I have used many good and well-known keyboards such as Razer and Logitech, but today I tried this one at an internet cafe. Its response is instant. It is also TKL, meaning it does not have the num lock, which means you have more space to move your mouse. I highly recommend it!!!!

Did you find this review helpful?Quite a good keyboard. Currently, it is the best keyboard in the €150 range and for demanding gaming, it is very good. It is for those who want a small keyboard that does not feel like a train when typing. Something VERY IMPORTANT is that if you want it for typing, I would recommend going somewhere else as it is purely for gaming due to the switches where they activate with minimal pressure.
