The umbrella is of mediocre to poor quality. I bought the KAUKIRI PLUS LIMITED for 90€. We used it a total of 7 times (over a period of 2 years). It broke with a 3 Beaufort wind. Specifically, the wire that holds the arms at the top initially broke (this damage occurred even without it starting to blow), and with the wind, one of the arms also broke. The entire construction is made of plastic - of mediocre quality. Trying to fix the broken wire I mentioned earlier, I unscrewed the torx screws on the top. Needless to say, all the turns were worn out, it was only a matter of time before they started to give up...
In short, don't be fooled by the design, accessories (pegs, lightweight, extra shade, etc.) - they fooled me.
This specific product from TERRA NATION is not good. The reviews and stars it has received reflect the truth. It's better to look elsewhere. The choice is yours...

The ribs are plastic and with a little breeze, it moves as if it's in a storm. I believe even a 10 euro umbrella would be better than this one. I cried for every euro spent on this purchase.

Owner of the umbrella for a few years now, with a sturdy handle as "mom" couldn't secure it. Good fabric, I would say, but as soon as it gets windy, it starts to sway compared to other branded ones (e.g. Maui & Sons, which are also cheaper, half the price). I don't think it's worth its money.

It broke on the first use at the connection of the umbrella with the support axis (it is understood that a hole in a non-solid umbrella creates a weak point). The support pegs are a joke because clearly the umbrella cannot withstand any wind at all. The plastic mechanism for the handle does not tighten at all, as soon as it was pulled by the ropes, the entire umbrella went into the handle. By far the worst product I have ever wasted my money on in my life.

Third year that I have it and I am very satisfied. In strong wind, I don't know any umbrella that can withstand. Instead of the ribs it has, I have the cylindrical ones that have greater resistance to sand and I have no issues.

Very beautiful, lightweight and easy to use umbrella but .... up to 1-2 Beaufort!!!!! I bought three umbrellas .... very expensive ... in 4 years!!!!! It's a shame because I believed - and got fooled three times!!!! - that a TerraNation umbrella is a guaranteed purchase. The tilt mechanism is unacceptably sensitive. The ribs are the same. TerraNation needs to fix these flaws ... even if it's a kilo heavier. And for proof ... the photo with the three useless umbrellas.

The perfect umbrella in windless conditions. If life blows at the beach, it's hell. It closes on its own. Older models are much better. I bought one 10 years ago and it still holds up in 6bf.

I decided to spend the particularly high amount of €89 for a beach umbrella, as it was accompanied by the "heavy" name of TerraNation. The purchase was made in early June 2017. The umbrella is indeed very lightweight and beautiful in terms of design. After 3 uses in normal conditions for Greece, I realized that it must be tied from at least 2 points each time with the special ropes provided in the package, as its small weight makes it particularly unstable. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough, as after a sudden gust of stronger wind, the umbrella turned around, resulting in one rib breaking and two others bending. After contacting the store of purchase, the umbrella was immediately replaced with a new one in mid-July 2017. More suspicious now, I supported the umbrella from all directions with the 3 ropes provided in the package during each use. However, once again, one of the known gusts of wind on Greek beaches lifted the umbrella 3 meters off the ground, turned its face, and of course, two ribs broke. I had managed to use it 4 more times. It is very important to note that both times, NONE of the other umbrellas on the beaches I was at suffered the slightest damage, from umbrellas with sturdy construction (and much lower cost than mine) to promotional ones of questionable quality and reliability. The conclusion of the above experience is that this particular umbrella is ideal for conditions of complete calm, without any hint of exaggeration, as in any other case, it is extremely vulnerable. Obviously, I do not recommend its purchase, as there are many much better options, even at one-third of its cost.
