Very good tool, sturdy and very complete.
It has tips, 20 different screwdrivers, and also comes with the extension + molle case.
Very powerful and withstands a lot of mistreatment. Only the color may fade and get scratched over time, but a tool is meant to wear out. It also has a 25-year warranty. If we break it, it can be replaced by Leatherman at a cost, with shipping expenses to Germany totaling around €20 round trip. So don't be afraid!
It has solved my hands many times at work in situations where I needed a tool in "emergency" the only negative thing is that when the pliers got stuck, then a small piece broke off from the tip of one of its parts. The tool didn't become useless, but since then I don't have many expectations... for the money it costs, I expected more anyway
Also a gift from a friend who had it for 15 years and I have had it for 7, so a total of 22 years, and it is still brand new. Literally used for mountaineering, survival situations, etc. I will upload photos soon. It is an amazing tool, the best one out there. You buy it once and it literally lasts forever.
They gave it to me 7-8 years ago and it remains in the same perfect condition. Zero rust. Cuts dangerously. Be careful. Heavy, compact. Now that I saw the price here on Scroutz, I realized what an expensive gift my friend had given me. And I don't even know how long he had it before... And it's still like new. As soon as I can, I will upload a photo. I probably have an older model, but it still has plenty of tools on it... And I repeat, after so long, it still cuts fabric.
I bought it from the American camp in 1999 and it has been working non-stop until today. I cut wires, cables, metal chains. I screw/unscrew screws and bolts from ammunition boxes. I place the blade between a wooden box and its lid, apply force to lift it slightly, and then use pliers to remove the nails. It cuts ropes and straps, even weekly tie-down straps, without any problem. I have the old model without the interchangeable cutters on the pliers, but otherwise, it is the same. The blade is difficult to sharpen and requires a special tool and someone who knows how, because it is made of very hard steel. I take it to the unit's armorer. Attention! It is quite bulky and heavy. You can't carry it around as a multitool, only during your work. If you want something to have on you in case you need it, get the smaller version, the Wave.
I have the previous model for years exactly the same with slight differences in the shape of the tools. After 14 years, it has not shown any signs of wear!!! Even the knife still shaves!!! It's worth every euro of it...
