An extensive and thorough presentation of the factors and variables that influence the developmental trajectory of individuals with visual impairment is attempted, based on international literature.

The publication of this work aims to enrich Greek literature on issues concerning the cognitive, linguistic, motor, and socio-emotional development of individuals with visual impairment. The starting point is the fact that children with vision loss or impairment during their development face many challenges and, at the same time, are called upon to manage various issues related to their smooth adaptation to the broader social fabric.
