The king of tripods. Whatever I say about this tripod is not enough. It is made for large format cameras, meaning all today's cameras are just toys for this titan. If weight is the deciding factor for choosing a tripod, look elsewhere and search for something in carbon or something smaller. For those looking for something stable, look no further. Tested with 6 Beaufort winds in a 30-second exposure, the image I captured was just as clear as at 1/4000. Unmatched build quality, as one would expect from Manfrotto. I would also recommend it for studio use with a good head, as it can reach a height of 2.40 meters with the central column lowered. This means 2.80 meters with the column raised, the head, and the camera. Even fully extended, it truly doesn't budge.

On the tripod, I have placed a professional DSLR with a large zoom telephoto lens 70-200 2.8, with a laptop mounted on top and a fabric bag attached to the legs to hold accessories. I also had three additional lenses on top. The total equipment weight could have been around 10 kilograms, and still, it didn't move. But apart from that, 15 years ago, I used it with a large format camera loaded with 10-20 kilograms of equipment. I have owned it for about 25 years, and with proper maintenance (oiling, tightening), it is still like new and has never needed repairs.

Note: The column that goes on top is of larger diameter, which means any head can be mounted on it, even a professional video head. Also, when the legs are spread, the head screws in from below, which is useful for low-angle shots where the camera can touch the floor.

I have had it for 11 years and what I haven't done to it, if it had a mouth it would curse me, but there it is, it's worth it
