Description

The series "Problems for Everyone" consists of five books, which are aimed at children in grades 2 to 6. Each book includes problems directly related to the curriculum of each grade. Their goal is to help children develop problem-solving skills in everyday life. Each section of the book can be used as a weekly review of what was taught in school or as practice at home.

Each page contains six problems related to: numbers, money, volume, weight, and units of measurement. The mathematical objectives are summarized in the top right corner of each page, as well as in the table of contents at the beginning of the book. Small numbers are often used for the problems, and their solutions only require mental calculations. This is because their goal is not the complexity of arithmetic operations, but the development of mathematical thinking. The seventh question on each page is a puzzle that gives children the opportunity to think using various properties of numbers. The review pages involve problems similar to those presented in the previous pages. Often, on the left page, there is an image from which children must extract the information they need to solve the problems on the right page. The illustrations accompanying each problem often have a functional character, and the child must find useful information within them to help solve the problem.

At the end of each book, the solutions to the problems are provided.
