The variable aperture is not a problem as the grading is minimal except in conditions of complete lack of lighting! I don't take it off the camera unless I want to work with fixed ones! The best run and gun for m43 systems

Stay away! I have had this lens since 2019 and I have never been particularly satisfied with the quality of the image it produces. The problem is that in the last two months, it started to become blurry on the right side of the frame and gradually became completely unusable! But the worst part is that, as I was informed by the official Leica dealership in Greece, there is no service available here and the lens needs to be sent to Germany. It goes without saying that the time it will take to be repaired (if it can be repaired) is unknown, as well as the potential cost of repairs/replacements. Additionally, approximately €40 is required for shipping to Germany and insurance. Unacceptable for a product that is aimed at professionals and costs €900. In short, it is an excellent choice for anyone who has money to throw away and wants to have problems that are not easily solved!!! The rest of you should buy something cheaper and probably better (e.g. Sigma 16mm, 1.4) which costs half the price!
