Wonderful book series...the reason I believe it is for ages 3+ is that the pages are not made of hard cardboard, so babies under 2 years old can easily tear them apart....In my case, this happened with all of them, but luckily there is also a control panel with melodies on the back. So it's better for a 3-year-old child to handle it with care
One of the best series of music books available. A bit pricey but with good sound quality, although not very loud (obviously, you won't have a party with them). It will definitely keep the child's interest while learning something new.
The first book of the series that we bought when our little one was just a few months old and he loved it!!! It needs a little attention on the pages for small hands, as they can easily tear the paper. However, the music still plays perfectly after a year and a half, unlike other musical books that broke after a couple of months... We now have several books from the series, but this one remains one of our favorites!!!
The little 16-month-old got excited as soon as she saw it!! She played with it and pressed the buttons, while wanting us to watch it together and every time she changed a page or pressed a button, it pulled me to see! The buttons are touch-sensitive, but she figured them out right away! It is a very commendable children's storybook! It should be found in all children's libraries. The pages are 26, thin, of good quality, and the mechanism is at the back.
I think it's an unpopular opinion, but it didn't impress us as much as we expected. We bought three from the series (Rock, Disco, Jazz). And while the melodies and songs it contains are very nice, the illustration is terribly repetitive and with quite dark colors that don't catch the eye.
The pages are indeed very thin, but for now, my daughter manages them just fine. The buttons are quite hard, she needs help from me. Overall, she still prefers the musical cardboard books over the fancy editions.
The entire series of musical books with Reno is amazing. The books have icons that children press and play music as the story unfolds. They learn about musical instruments and melodies. The music has excellent performance.
Very good and this one, it keeps the interest of the 8-month-old baby for a long time and he loves it. We also have African music.

The "buttons" are quite hard. They require strength! Otherwise, very good!
