Just one major drawback that I noticed (it might be related only to my headphones), is that they have some issues with Ubuntu and the sound gets distorted (something in my configuration is causing the problem). I don't know if I'm the only one experiencing this issue.

Did you find this review helpful?I have owned these headphones since 26/8/2018 and I am writing this review on 25/11/2021. They are truly amazing, very durable, and have withstood a lot of mishandling as I dropped them several times. Anyway, the right earphone lasted about a year, making them difficult to use, but the microphone still works perfectly without any issues, along with the left earphone. Additionally, the leather on the ear cushions wore off during the first year due to excessive use, which personally doesn't bother me. Furthermore, the sound quality is very good and clear, as I could hear each instrument individually when listening to music, and the bass is very satisfying, making the music very enjoyable. Finally, what bothered me is the comfort, as after 1 to 1.5 hours of use, my head starts to hurt and I feel the pressure it puts on my head, and the plastic that adjusts to the top of the head and touches the hair (see image) came off within six months, I tried using adhesive tape but it didn't hold for long. I don't think there are many better alternatives to these headphones, as they were the best pick on the market when I bought them. They are truly a great value for money

Did you find this review helpful?I come from Razer Kraken X Lite, I didn't expect it to be better but I was wrong, it may not have the same sound quality as Razer (although it's very close), but in terms of construction quality, it surpasses Razer by far for me. The Razer had a plastic headband which resulted in them becoming loose within a month, while these are made of metal and don't give the feeling that they will come off your head.
I haven't tried the microphone because I play with Dualsense on PC and use the controller's microphone.
TL;DR: They are much better than the €50 Razer (Kraken X Lite), they are worth 100%

After 1 year, the ear cushions started to fray. In all other aspects, such as build quality, sound, etc., they are fine FOR THEIR PRICE. Nothing has broken, nothing is hanging, the microphone works perfectly for almost daily Skype use, all lights are working.
I had other headphones that would break or malfunction within 6 months, but even if something breaks tomorrow, these specific ones will have been worth their money.

Personally, I can wear them for 3 to 5 hours without feeling tired. After these two years of use, the microphone broke, but that's the only issue. The ear cushions have become loose and worn out, which is the biggest problem. However, the headphones are still intact for gaming after a long time of use. The LED lights stopped working after the first year, but it didn't bother me much. Overall, the headphones are of great quality considering their price. The microphone is very commendable, despite breaking after 2 years. They are worth their price, but the only negative aspect that bothered me a lot is that the screws become loose and you have to tighten them every week. The packaging was in poor condition when it arrived, but that's a shipping issue. The sound is transmitted perfectly through the 3.5mm jack, which can be connected to consoles. I used it on a console for the first 1.5 years and then on a PC. I have to say that there is minimal difference in sound quality and latency between the two

Unfortunately, from the first few months, they started to have problems with their fit, and soon the left earbud started to hang, no longer fitting properly. Essentially, it came out of its base. It's a shame because they seemed well-made, and if it weren't for this issue, I would say that they are satisfactory in other aspects, and they don't become uncomfortable after hours of use. It's worth noting that they have a 2-year warranty, but I don't know if the company would cover such a defect.
Updated 17/3/21: I eventually discovered that the ear cushions are detachable and easy to remove, and the internal screws of each earbud loosen relatively easily. I was able to tighten the internal screw that supports the earbud base and everything is fine now, without much hassle. The other parts have not presented any issues, and the ear cushions are still comfortable and without wear, even though I use them for several hours every day. Usually, headphones don't last me more than a year, while cheaper ones only last a few months, so I declare myself satisfied with the product.
Updated review 22/12/21: After approximately 20 months of use, gradual wear on the ear cushions. However, the overall quality is still quite good.

The top part that comes in contact with the head came off and only the rubber with the plastic remained. Despite enduring some bumps throughout this time, in the last year I started experiencing problems with the sound (only one side could be heard and I had to take them off and put them back on to get a good connection). The microphone is average. Overall, they are okay, not perfect cheap headphones. They are definitely value for money, but they didn't impress me enough to buy them again. I would probably spend a bit more to get something better

However, the negative in my opinion about these headphones is the size. The metal headband does offer stability, but it is bigger than it should be and not only becomes uncomfortable after 1-2 hours of gaming, but also makes the headset appear huge and strange on the head. At the price they are available, it is worth buying them, as long as you can overlook the large size of the headband.

Positives:
Good sound for music/average for gaming.
Strong and nice bass.
Quite comfortable (at least when they are new).
Thick padding on the ear cups.Negatives:
Relatively cheap construction (which is understandable considering their price).
The ear cups started to wear out relatively quickly.
The LED light stopped working after a few months (personally, I didn't mind because I didn't really use it).
The top part of the headphones is adjustable for all head sizes, but after some time it broke, making them uncomfortable to use.
The microphone is not very high-quality.Overall, for their price, they are a very good budget "gaming" headset that I would recommend. 20 euros for 2 years of use is not bad at all :D

In terms of the money you buy them for, they are among the best + in bass + sound quality + many things. Their main disadvantage is the microphone, which is not the best mainly because it would pick up the sound from the headphones, for example, I would listen to music and play games and my conversation partners would hear the music. This might be fixable, but since I have a camera, I didn't bother much... In conclusion, it's a good purchase for their price... maybe there are better ones now, but they won't disappoint you, don't listen to the kids who expect the quality of expensive headphones with 20 euros

The cable at the end of the plug is damaged and doesn't make good contact, so if it moves a little, the sound cuts out. The cushion on top to prevent head pain is very good, but it is glued and came off in the first few months, so I had to sew it back on. Lastly, the faux leather, like many other headphones, starts peeling after a year. I wouldn't recommend them.

They are much bulkier than they appear and the speakers feel plasticky to the touch. During the first hour of gaming, they are enjoyable due to their huge speakers, but after that, my ears start to hurt from the hard cushion they have. Recently, the left speaker completely detached and is only supported by two thin cables. I have had them for a year now and they haven't been treated perfectly, but I have never experienced something like this with headphones before.

In terms of construction, it is very mediocre, meaning you can tell it is completely plastic except for the top part which has a little bit of metal. For example, the cushion for the top of the head completely broke, it tore completely but it's a small issue. Lastly, the microphone did not satisfy me, you have to shout for the other person to hear you... for their price, if you don't have high expectations, they are worth it.

Sweet sound (I imagine it helps in this big speaker of theirs and the large diameter speaker) and rich bass, overall a beautiful experience even for music if you like sound with plenty of bass. Having tried over time the corsair hs35 (much inferior to the NOD) but also the Razer Kraken, in my personal opinion it surpasses both in sound as well as in microphone, although it lacks a bit in the high frequencies and the midrange. Buy fearlessly satisfactory sound with realistic bass that only large diameter 50mm headphones can faithfully produce without congestion and distortions, at a super affordable price, they will pleasantly surprise you!
