I was ready to proceed with the purchase after watching the YouTube videos, and since I have a dog and a young child at home, I was looking for something that would keep my house clean in combination with a robot. The dog leaves paw prints on the marble after every walk due to the humidity from the heat, even though I clean him thoroughly before he enters the house, and I wouldn't want the child to play on them. However, I read the reviews and was terribly disappointed!

But luckily, a friend had it for over a year... he explained it to me... I understood again how it works and proceeded with the purchase.

After almost a month of daily use, I give it 5 stars because:
- It does exactly what it says. It sweeps the dust and mops the floor with excellent results. Of course, if there's a spill of coffee, juice, etc., you open it and everything is taken care of, it leaves nothing behind.
- In combination with a robot vacuum before and mopping with the FC5 after, you have a perfect house that awaits the weekly or bi-weekly "deep" cleaning. And this is truly the job of both devices (robot vacuum, Karcher FC5)... They wait for the big vacuum and mop to do the heavy lifting.

It only has one negative aspect, which doesn't bother me much. It's not easy to start using it for something urgent... for example, if coffee spills on the floor... Because you have to add detergent, put some water in its base to moisten the brushes, clean it, and then start the "storage" process. Meaning emptying the waste bin, putting it back in the vacuum, adding more water to the base for the self-cleaning process, removing the waste box, cleaning it, and removing the brushes to dry. It's a 5-minute job, but it might bother some people. I repeat, it doesn't bother me because I come home from work, the robot vacuum has already cleaned, and in 25 minutes, I've mopped a 110-square-meter house.

UNACCEPTABLE PRODUCT!!!!
I bought it in November 2019 and after a few uses, in the second week, the mechanism of rotation of the rollers, which is fixed together with the pump, broke. I sent it to the service and they replaced it within the warranty. Today, after another month of use, it suffered the same damage again, and I have to send it back to the service.
I don't know how many times they will change the mechanism until the end of the warranty, but it is extremely sensitive to any resistance, even from a small piece of debris, and the pump needs to be replaced again. It is definitely a material flaw and I wonder why Karcher has not fixed it yet. If you search in all the comments and internationally, the same problem occurs with the slightest issue. I hope they fix it during the warranty period, otherwise it is a USELESS PRODUCT... However, in the three years (if I'm not mistaken) since it was released on the market, they have not fixed anything despite the derogatory reviews they have in all countries. The usage I have is two or three times a week in a doctor's office with marble on the floor, after it has been thoroughly cleaned with a vacuum cleaner. Now, as for the effectiveness in mopping, someone accurately described it as a "caress" on a well-cleaned floor, but that's the least of the problems since they haven't fixed any manufacturing flaws... In fact, in an international review, someone claims that the pump breaks in the first 20 uses!!!

VERY poorly designed product, a shame for Karcher to put its name on this product.
In no way is it a vacuum cleaner + mop 2 in 1 as advertised. If you haven't already vacuumed the house with a regular vacuum cleaner, it simply scatters the dirt around after wetting it thoroughly.
- It is heavy, it doesn't stand upright on its own.
- The brushes don't rotate particularly fast, don't expect it to scrub your floors, a wet wipe does the job.
- You can't use hot water (it cools down by default due to the mechanism even if you fill it with hot water)
- It has 6(!) removable and washable parts that need to be washed EVERY time, so you'll have them piled up for a day until they dry.
- It has a 3cm gap in the center between the rollers, so it requires a lot of back and forth to cover a surface.
- When the bin is full, it leaks dirty water onto the cleaned floors.

A simple mop is 1000 times better at 1/20th of the cost, or even better, a steam cleaner for floors that actually does the job.

Avoid it at all costs, you will regret the high price it costs.
