I recommend not buying it.
There are no instructions included and assembly is difficult.
Also, the cable cannot be removed.
Other than that, it does its job, so buy it only if you don't mind all these things and don't want to spend a lot of money
I have had this product in my possession for about a year now (maybe a little longer) and I am now in a position to give a full evaluation of it.
This product is mainly aimed at low-tier categories of studio and non-studio microphones. Its construction is quite cheap, and I believe that if you want something that will last over time, without noticeable signs of wear and tear, then it's better to look elsewhere. After approximately a year of daily use, the base shows signs of wear both in the microphone connection, where it easily disconnects from the construction of the microphone with the shock mount simply by a slight adjustment of the wrist, and in things like the "coat" of black paint, which seems to fade over time. Additionally, without frequent "greasing," the squeaky sound in the connections is also pronounced.
However, the base is a relatively cheap and elegant solution for supporting a budget microphone on the desk, and if it is for occasional use, then perhaps it is worth purchasing.
It does exactly what you want, easy to assemble, and excellent construction for its price. I have placed a HyperX Quadcast on top of it and it holds it perfectly without any issues. The downside is that you cannot remove the built-in XLR cable from the arm, but by cutting off both ends, there are no unnecessary cables visible. Highly recommended for its price!
