  The game has made history for the Switch. I wonder why they won't release a sequel. Everything is 20/20. However, if they had released multiplayer like in 3D World, it would have become one of the top video games of all time, just like it happened with MK8D...

  Terrible gameplay, Mario seems like he can't move his feet, the camera turns slowly and it tends to change its perspective on its own, it's like they tried to make Mario's movement smoother but he doesn't move!   One of the best games for the switch. It was the first game I bought for the switch and it definitely influenced my decision to purchase the console. I consider this game to be a major factor when someone is considering buying this console. It's truly a beautiful game that will give you many hours of gameplay, with surprises hidden throughout the map that you wouldn't expect. You can simply breeze through the game by collecting only the necessary moons to progress through the levels, or you can spend hours exploring every nook and cranny of each map.

  It's a very different and creative Mario game that even though the character is the same, it can be played as a pseudo-multiplayer with an official option within the game where one player controls Mario and the other controls the new magical hat in the game.

  It's truly amazing and I haven't even finished it yet, even though I have a solid 10 hours of gameplay.

I haven't finished it yet, but I know that once I complete the game 100%, there will be no reason to play it again.   I got it as my first game on the switch, along with the console. The game is a very nice 3D platformer with many moments that impress you and make you feel like you're playing something awesome. It reminded me a lot of the feeling and emotions I had when I first played Mario 64 back in the day.

  The main story is about 10-15 hours long and the truth is that after completing it, I felt like I had nothing to do. But as I started to collect more moons, which the game asked me to do, I saw how much of the worlds I hadn't seen and explored because I hadn't yet entered the logic and controls of the game. Also, the levels change compared to the first time the player visits them, so you find new things to discover. I would say that it's easy to finish the story and that's the goal, to make the end accessible to everyone. But then the difficulty starts to increase and the game becomes more demanding, so it can keep the interest of a more experienced player.

  The online game with the balloon hiding is fun, but definitely not something complete as an online piece, but another challenge within the world if you want to do something different.

  I think it's definitely worth it as a game.

  I believe it should be sold mandatory with the switch. "Stunning" and "masterpiece" are two words I would use for this game.   Having completed 90 plus hours playing the game, I feel ready to give my opinion. Initially, I hadn't played a 3D Mario game since Nintendo DS's Mario 64 when I was 8 years old. After about seven years, I excitedly bought this game along with the console. The gameplay was quite enjoyable and relatively simple, but even the simplicity of the game is enchanting. With hours of play, you learn the various moves and controls of the player. The story progresses very smoothly and harmoniously, and the cap makes the story and overall aesthetic of Mario and the game even better. However, what surprised me and is worth mentioning is the graphics and open-world style that provide a lot of detail. If you only follow the story, you can finish it in 10 hours, but if you want to explore, find additional moons, various hidden places, and secrets, then you can easily spend up to 80 hours playing. Now, as to whether it's worth the money, it's fifty-fifty. Nevertheless, it's a must-have exclusive Switch game for me.

Huge variety, very fun, with imagination and many small beautiful details like costumes, hats, etc. You can play the game as you want.
