I had bought it in 2017 with the combination of
Gigabyte h110m-s2h
Sapphire Radeon R9 280X 3GB Dual-X Boost OC
Corsair X 1x8 ddr4 2133mhz
Ssd 250Gb & 2TB 7200rpm
Nitro+ 650W
The games Cyberpunk 2077, Battlefield 1, Battlefield 5, GTA V, Dying light, Far Cry 3, 4, 5, ETS2 run at High with Ultra settings at 60-70FPS with a resolution of 1920X1080
Purchased due to low budget along with a 1050 and 8 GB RAM (2x4 dual channel), it runs games like League of Legends, CS:GO, and Paladins at a comfortable 60+ fps. Fortnite runs at a stable 59-60 fps with mixed settings at 1080p (for Fortnite, it's recommended to lock the fps as it is a CPU-intensive game and can stress the CPU, resulting in fluctuating fps). It is quite good for multitasking and overall it offers value for money, even in 2019
Dog, with gtx 780 3gb(~rx 570), b250 mortar, 8gb 2400mhz plays everything at 1080p, BUT, it still remains a Pentium with 2 cores and 4 threads
The processor is simply perfect, it runs fast and without high temperatures, and it runs perfectly in low games like Dota, LOL, CS:GO, ETS2, Dirt Rally, and others
I do not play games or edit videos. But in everyday use, with multiple browser windows open and running various applications simultaneously, I have no problem.
The processor for its price is perfect, it's not worth getting the i3 6100 because they are the same processors
Definition of value for money. Equivalent to the i3 at half the price. It will take a while to see such a good processor from INTEL in this price category again. I always used to buy mid-range processors for 100-200 euros to do my work because you would buy garbage for 50-100 euros. This one is not garbage! I work with relatively heavy programs like 3D CAD, mathematical modeling, etc. (with 16GB of memory and no problems). I have also combined it with a GTX1050 and it supports it perfectly in all games.
Quiet cooler, stability, low temperatures with full load and stock cooler, low power consumption...
I bought it in March 2018 along with a 1050 ti, 8GB RAM, b250 motherboard, and an SSD, and I have to say that it doesn't lag anywhere. For 50 euros, it is the best CPU available for budget gaming PCs. Essentially, it is an i3 6100. It performs the same and in some games even better than the cheaper Ryzen. I play PUBG on medium settings with 60+ fps, as well as Battlefield 1.
The processor is a dog. It does not increase temperature above 50. Buy it as quickly as you can because it is selling out, it will not be available soon
After 4 months of use for gaming, program compiling, image editing, and web surfing, I have to say that I am quite satisfied with this processor and I must admit that I did not expect it to perform so well.
It does not increase temperatures because I have 4 fans (20, 2x15, and 14) plus a heatsink. It always runs at 20-40% usage, BUT when running Chrome and doing something else simultaneously, and when shifting windows, Chrome freezes.
Overall, my only problem is that Chrome freezes quite often, always with less than 3 open tabs while switching between programs.
Other than that, for a €50 processor, it comes quite close to the 6th generation i3. So, it is a great value for money for a factory model with a warranty.
One thing I will say is that it replaced my i5 750 with 4 cores and 4 threads, and on minergate with a CPU I saw quadruple the h/s, but it also performs well in games. I have deepcool coolers with 2 70mm fans and it goes up to a maximum of 45 degrees with radio mining and running Android games. It's simply perfect.
Almost a year later and with a little bit of everything, game video rendering movies web surfing, I can say that I am completely satisfied, even with titles from 18, no problems at all. First, focus on a good GPU and then on the CPU. It is a processor that will handle everything flawlessly, of course with an aftermarket cooler with 2 x 70mm fans. The maximum temperature was 55 degrees with a room temperature of 40 in the summer
The processor for its price is amazing. I had a Ryzen 3 2200G and I switched to a Pentium with a 1060 and I am more satisfied
The processor is very good for its price. The child who has the system has remained extremely satisfied.
Here's a build for the PC here!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BdnM4kWAs08
See you there!
I have been a owner for 2 months now and it has left me speechless. I haven't seen it go above 50% good temperatures and it plays League of Legends on ultra settings with a steady 55 fps
I also bought this processor and I can say that it is worth every €€€€€ it asks for. It works flawlessly in everything I do. For a budget PC, I believe it is worth it and with a little money, you can build a good computer that can handle the latest games. I combined it with the following:
-cpu g4560
-mobo Asrock H110M-G/M.2
-ram Patriot 8GB DDR4-2400MHz
-gpu Asus GeForce GT 1030 2GB
-ssd Western Digital Green 120GB
The PC simply flies.
For so little money, it is worth it and more. It is truly value for money, even if you spend 700 euros, it is worth getting this one (and in the future an i7). You can allocate the money to other things. Overall, it is excellent
Plays 4K videos at 60FPS. I have had the processor on my computer for a long time and it is very good. I have it without a graphics card and with the appropriate drivers, it can even play 4K 60FPS on a 23'' FHD monitor without any lag, and I'm talking about files with a size of 6 GB. I have it with 6 GB of RAM and a 1 TB HDD. I don't know about gaming, but I imagine it won't be good unless you add a GT 1030 if you want, but for internet browsing and videos, it is excellent.
Flawless processor for its price. It performs better than Ryzen 3 1200 in games. Paired with a 1050ti and 8gb of RAM, it can handle even the most demanding games on high settings with over 45fps. It reaches 60fps on medium settings. With the stock cooler, it's unlikely to exceed 50 degrees. Simply put, there is no competitor at this price.
Basically, it is an i3 with a different name. Now that its price has dropped, it is worth it for light use. However, at the recent price of 90, it is definitely not worth it.
They say, they say things about this specific category of Intel. That they are not good, that they are old, and a bunch of other things.
This particular processor is worth its money and I say it fully objectively.
It's like an i3, with the only difference being that it is 3.70Ghz, while the Pentium is 3.50Ghz, but there is nothing negative about that.
It runs games and applications flawlessly in the two months that I have had it.
I have paired it with a Gigabyte GTX GeForce 1050 2GB and I admit that they have a tremendous "chemistry" between them.
I have nothing else to add, it's worth it, that's why it "skyrocketed" from the price of 61.90 euros that I bought it for to 75 euros and above.
Regarding temperatures, you should know that they remain the same and do not exceed 30-35 degrees.
5/5 Very powerful processor for its price. Personally, I use it for light gaming and web browsing. After 7 months of use, I am very satisfied.
I am very disappointed that I am putting in one of the best products that has passed 4, but now the G4600 is a g4560 with more hz and better integrated graphics (idk personally), but it is exactly the same price. G4600 with closed eyes.
Almost 2 years the beast ... still nothing happened! I changed it for a Ryzen 5 1600.
For the money, it's just what you need, but it's not for gaming. Only old games, heavy ones until 2015 with a graphics card, because without a graphics card, don't expect much... Internet, YouTube, Facebook, it's great for that! I wish it had 4 cores...
The best processor for its price. Get it without a second thought. The only reason not to get it as an economical solution would be if you want to go for the Ryzen, where with a little more money you get a superior class.
For the 62 Euros that I bought it for, yes, it was worth it. Fast, doesn't lag, and works perfectly for someone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money but can settle for less and doesn't play demanding games. Of course, with the increase in price, turn to the G4620 [slightly better and slightly better graphics (630)]
Best VFM CPU! It is an i3 6100 disguised as a Pentium. If you want to build a PC, get it now while it's at 60 euros and then get the rest of the components.
I have had it in my possession for 4 months now, and for its price, it's great! Even with its specifications, I can play plenty of games with satisfactory fps!
With a mediocre motherboard and a good graphics card, I play all my games flawlessly. Unmatched value for money.
Of course, it was unbearable when it first came out and cost 60 euros, now it has reached 80 (which is what I paid for it) because it was nowhere to be found for purchase, all the stores said 4+ weeks for delivery :(
Flawless in games and multitasking, it's worth every penny
