Very good construction and large cooking space
Not even in its sleep does it reach the 230 degrees it claims, it takes 2 hours to bake potatoes. The thermostat seems to stop it frequently, maybe a design flaw, don't buy it.
Four stars for its cheap price. Average oven. It is for one person. It was purchased three years ago and it is durable. It takes a while to cook some foods. On the other hand, it works well and quickly. It operates according to its instructions. It is definitely not suitable for larger demands and more people.
I have to tell you that it takes too long to cook, two burgers for example take an hour with the temperature at maximum. It's not worth it at all
For its price, it shows as a good oven. I tested it immediately as soon as I got it. The light inside the oven works perfectly and illuminates satisfactorily. The fan (air) is also low and not very audible.
Now let's get to the essentials.
I measured the temperature at various points and fortunately it is uniform (with slight variations). HOWEVER, BE CAREFUL. It takes a while to reach temperature. Also, the 230 degrees (max) are not 230, they are barely 210. - I measured 206 in 3 points max with air and without. I lowered it to 190... waited 15 minutes... the actual temperature was around 170-175... Unfortunately, this is an issue because with my very old IZZY oven that I had for 8 years, whatever temperature it showed, that's what I measured and it even reached it in a shorter time than this one. So, the temperatures on the outside thermostat do not correspond to the actual temperature... there is a difference of about 20 degrees.
The top surface heats up after 35 minutes. I measured around 85 degrees but this is common in other ovens as well.
For this price, it is the only one that offers a light and air (even if it is of low flow). If it accurately reached the temperatures, it would receive 5 stars.
I will come back in the future with more detailed tests as this is my first report. The good thing is that it seems to bake uniformly. The bad thing is that the temperatures are actually slightly lower (especially the 230, they are actually 205-210).
I have had it for 12 days and compared to a previous and even more popular brand, I consider it much better!
The cooking time has been reduced, it cooks evenly, it is powerful, its light is helpful, and the size is comfortable for two people to eat comfortably!
Overall, I am satisfied with the first impression, now I am expecting durability over time...
I used it for about 1 year because I bought a regular-sized one... Powerful little oven... The downside is that it gets very hot... but overall, if you learn how to use it, it bakes well.
I bought it 1.5 years ago... While it is quite good externally, it has corroded internally quite a bit... it has started to rust! It toasts slightly worse than another De Longi that I had before... It doesn't have "eyes", it's plain... I wouldn't buy it again and unfortunately, soon I will have to search for a new one
