Anyone who is more interested in photos should look elsewhere, as the camera is oriented towards video. Having the D7200, one cannot reach its potential in photography.

An excellent camera for professional video:
- 2 memory cards on which you can simultaneously record 4K at 60fps.
- Plenty of customizable buttons so that you have any setting you need in a second.
- The image stabilizer is excellent and adds value to telephoto lenses without stabilization and generally to any lens you attach, even analog ones with an adapter.
- Excellent color depth with huge capabilities in editing, especially in 10-bit 4:2:2.

Weaknesses:
- Low-light capabilities are limited. Up to 1,600 ISO with noise reduction in post-processing, it performs well. Maybe even at 3,200, but above that, noise reduction softens the image significantly.
- Autofocus is quite good for static objects, but object tracking is not its strong point. Personally, I find the touchscreen very useful, where you can select where to focus during shooting, especially on a gimbal. Otherwise, manual focus is much safer.

I was very satisfied with the Canon 80d and had a lot of Canon equipment in lenses. As you can understand, I wanted something more for my videos and after a lot of searching, I ended up with the Gh5 after trying it out with colleagues who already had it. In terms of build quality, menu, and autofocus, it is definitely better than the equivalent Sony, with incredible capabilities and options for video, reaching up to 180 frames with the right settings.

I got the 12-35 lens from Lumix at 2.8, which, along with the camera's ISO, does not satisfy me in low light at all, but in all other aspects, the image is perfect.

The stabilizer of the Gh5, along with its lenses, is unbeatable.

I'll finish by saying that I also got the Metabone adapt for Canon lenses and the results are unbelievable. The only downside is that the autofocus quality decreases, but with the 1.2 50mm lens, you will be amazed at how it performs even at night.

After a lot of research and now over 50 hours of use, I consider it the only way to go. I hope I helped.

An excellent "video camera" with incredible build quality, and possibly the best stabilization system. It records without time limits, can record on two cards simultaneously, lacks in depth of field, and performs averagely in low-light conditions. Overall, for anyone shooting videos and not wanting to carry various stabilization accessories, it is the ideal camera.

28.9.22 I can't find a reason to switch to something else after 5000 hours of video... this camera has no expiration date... It works from -10 degrees Celsius to 40 degrees with scorching heat... I have tried all the cameras out there, the image produced by Lumix cannot be compared to any other... If you are interested in image and stabilization, blindly go for LUMIX... If you are interested in autofocus and ISO, only Sony...
