No comparison between the vox and the old one that contained antibiotics for staphylococcus with high effectiveness. But to realize the damage it causes, you need to read the fine print about the clay that causes lasting tremors.
I bought them from a pharmacy for 6 euros, which I consider quite expensive for a natural remedy. As a product, it does what it promises, but only for mild conditions like a simple hoarseness accompanied by a slight sore throat. For more severe conditions, it's better not to buy them. The taste is completely tasteless, you can't even taste the lemon or the eucalyptus.
I honestly don't see the reason to bother with this particular product, the way it is. Candies the size of a ten-minute coin, with zero effectiveness and a taste that makes you nauseous, costing 12 euros. A thousand times better are the Sopain Plus, 42 tablets costing 6 euros, and in 4-5 days you're done with the sore throat.
If we go back years ago to childhood when this product was regular for treatment, the disc was bigger and of course with 2-3 discs, the neck was immediately healed. Now, with this, it's the second day and I haven't seen any improvement in treatment
They don't help at all, you don't feel any difference. I bought the Sopain plus that a user mentioned and yes, they are indeed like the old Lysopaine. From the first tablet, you feel immediate relief in the throat.
Nothing.... It does nothing. No comparison to the old ones. And the bad thing is that the advertisement made me believe it would be top-notch. Hair. Better get plain candies instead of this.
No relation to the old lysopaine. The strawberry mint flavor I got was probably made by the owner's nephew because it's simply awful. With the old ones, with the first one you took, you felt relief, with these you don't see any difference, very important they have completely different active ingredients from the old ones, these ones supposedly have Icelandic moss, whatever. A thousand times gargles with saltwater
My pharmacist informed me that the old good lysopaine has been discontinued and vox is the new product that replaces it. Objectively, the following apply:
- It is more expensive
- It has a worse taste
- It is ineffective - better to take a halls instead of this.
Overall, it is garbage.
I bought them thinking they were the old Lysopaine, but they are completely different.
Finally, I asked my pharmacist and learned that the old and unbeatable Lysopaine now comes under the name Sopain Plus, with 42 tablets and a price of 6 euros, which is where I bought them and found relief.

First of all, let me start by saying that no throat lozenge works miracles. Some may help more than others, but not by a huge difference. I am giving this product 2 stars because if I compare it to the classic lysopaine mint, which I don't know if it is still available, it falls behind in many aspects. It has fewer tablets (18 instead of 20) and they are much smaller like tic-tacs. As for the taste, the strawberry flavor is nothing special, it's not something you haven't tried before in such a flavor. As for treating hoarseness and sore throat, as I mentioned at the beginning, don't expect miracles. I hope the classic lysopaine with the 20 large tablets will be released again, as it was more effective. Unfortunately, you can't find it anywhere anymore.
Although the taste is somewhat medicinal, they do a good job at preventing infections. However, you can't eat many of them, meaning you can't have them as "candies"
They have a very nice taste like regular candies. It is a bit of an issue, of course, if they do their job correctly, as it is difficult to cure a sore throat with a candy. If it had a lower price, around €2.5, it would be worth 5 stars
