At first glance, everything seems fine. The same speeds as the one that came with the hard drive, with no power issues on the 2.5" HDD.

What I hate about the 25cm cables that come with external hard drives or cases is that they are always wrapped very tightly, resulting in seeing their point of failure from day one. With the 50cm, you have a little leeway to make a loop instead of folding it and risking internal damage. This one comes loosely wrapped in a circle, so it hasn't suffered half the damage from the packaging.

These cables are still used as standards for external hard drives for some reason, and I don't understand why. They break easily, and this is the second time I buy one to replace the old one. After many uses, the old one no longer fits snugly in the socket, while the new one fits well.
