It is relatively quiet, glides very smoothly on the mouse pad (depending on the quality of the mouse pad). The only thing it needs is to be handled correctly (not to hit it, not to drop it abruptly on the mouse pad, etc.) in other words, you make its money back within a week, it is worth its money and more. Did you find this review helpful?Hello, my turn is to tell you my own story. I bought this specific mouse in 2020 and it would be the first expensive and lightweight mouse I bought at the same time. My purpose was to play purely FPS games (Valorant, CS:GO, etc.) but also other MMO-RPG/MOBA games, etc. Everything was going great during the first semester. After a while, following not so light usage, considering that you need to click infinitely and continuously in order to shoot and spray in FPS games, the fear of every FPS player started to happen, the so-called double click error, meaning it gives an input of 2 clicks when you have only pressed it once, resulting in it freezing and stopping the spray. Trying to change an item in League of Legends and it registering that you pressed it and activating the item. I searched for quick solutions, I was desperate, until I opened it to see what it has, but I didn't do it.
I found a solution that worked for about 3 months, I had no issues, then the same problems occurred again. I got tired of staying with a mouse that costs 90 euros and supposedly wouldn't have almost any problems. The next mouse I bought was the Razer DeathAdder Essential, priced at around 25 euros, I have had it for about 3 weeks and I have absolutely no issues.
In conclusion, for those of you who are like me and get frustrated in the game because you want to be good and are considering getting this mouse, just DON'T GET IT. Seriously, the DeathAdder Essential is EXACTLY the same without RGB and mousepad calibration (kappa keepo), it's 60 euros cheaper and worth its money. The length and width are the same as this one, and it's just 10 grams heavier (kappa keepo problem). Thank you for your time and save those 90 euros.

Unfortunately, after a year of LIGHT use, the mouse did not hold up for me, while it still works perfectly for my friend, so I imagine he would give a much better review. For me, the left click has stopped working properly, resulting in missing shots about one in ten times (very bad if you play fps games) or randomly registering as a double click. I do not recommend it at all, especially for the price that I see it has skyrocketed to at the moment, not even for the $50 that I bought it for, really stay away. You will spend a considerable amount with the fear that after a year you may need a new mouse!

After many hours of gaming, 2500 hours of PUBG, 2000 hours of LOL, 1000 hours of lineage, 2500 hours of GTA roleplay, and of course browsing the internet, YouTube, etc., the mouse didn't have any problems except for one small issue with the scroll wheel about a month ago. Did you find this review helpful?I have had this particular mouse for a year and a half. Personally, I consider it the best mouse I have ever held in my hands. From the first day, I felt like it was an extension of my hand. 10/10 for its shape. Everything worked naturally without anything bothering me. The only exception is the side grips on the left and right, which are made of cheap plastic. After five minutes of use, it feels like you have thrown them into a bucket of water. They are not so good for grip as they tend to slip. However, after two hours of use, you get used to it and it doesn't bother you anymore (at least that's how it happened to me).
Now, onto the negatives.
Firstly, the software. Synapse is simply useless. Yes, it offers many options for colors and macros, but updating it while playing a game and suddenly having your DPI go from 300 to 2000 is not pleasant at all. It also has incredible bugs that sometimes make it completely useless. You can't even change the color of your mouse without needing to restart the program three times because it keeps crashing. In Linux, there is no support for it, which might interest some people, and since there is no internal memory in the mouse, you are stuck with the DPI settings defined by the factory. The lowest DPI setting is 800, so if you are used to something lower like me, be prepared for an unpleasant experience.
Secondly, its weight. Personally, it's not an issue, but for some people (especially those who are used to honeycomb designs), the mouse will feel heavy. However, it is extremely well-balanced.
And now, the main negative. In the year and a half that I have had the mouse, it has started double-clicking on its own, even when I only press the button once. This is especially annoying when playing FPS games and you find yourself unable to shoot at the enemy (not pleasant at all, I must say). Additionally, the middle click has stopped working for about a month now. Before purchasing it, in conversations with friends who had Razer peripherals, they had told me that their products generally have an expiration date. Now I can confirm it. The mouse has died and cannot be used properly without wanting to break it. It has not been mistreated at all, as I am someone who vents their frustration on the keyboard. I don't remember it ever being dropped or hit. For me, it is unacceptable for a mouse that cost me 50 euros to break so quickly. As advice, stay away from this mouse and this company, at least until they improve the quality of their construction. I will definitely send it back as it is still under warranty, and if it gets replaced, I will sell it for 10 euros at Insomnia. It's not worth more than that.Translated from Greek ·- Comfort

Did you find this review helpful?I have had the mouse for 2 and a half years, neither the scroll wheel nor the side rubber have worn off (mice are sensitive, so if you don't treat them properly, don't expect them to perform the same). It is a quite convenient mouse, BUT it is suitable for medium to large hand sizes, comfortable for both gaming and regular use. The only reason I am taking the time to write this is because the mouse has been on the market SINCE 2016 (it's almost a 5-year-old mouse) and now there is the deathadder v2 available (at the SAME price), so get something more modern and lighter. It is not a tiring mouse, BUT in fps games, the +- 20 grams difference makes the deathadder v2 much more convenient as it responds more easily to hand movements. So if you are thinking of buying this mouse, just get the v2 (in other words, it's not worth getting a new deathadder when there is the same but better one available at the same price with better weight and a better sensor)

The mouse has not shown me any issues whatsoever, except for the fact that when you play a bit harder and need to click quickly, it personally hurts my hand. It doesn't achieve very high CPS, but overall it is very good. The two side buttons are quite convenient and very helpful. With a simple mousepad, I have been very satisfied throughout the years of using it. The only "mechanical" flaw was that the scroll wheel made some strange noises, but other than that, it's flawless. Suitable for FPS games, lightweight mouse, and fast sensor.

Once again, Razer does not disappoint me because the mouse is simply the king of Esports.
Positives:
It has the same beautiful feel it had when I first got it.
It is very convenient for games like DOTA and LOL and will not disappoint you in such games.
In CS:GO, it is truly incredible because of how quickly it flicks and the mouse feels like it is following your movements very quickly.
Negatives:
The only negative thing that caused me a small problem is the pads that your hands rest on, they would come off and a few months ago one of mine came off, but this can be easily fixed with glue.

- Build quality. It won't withstand heavy use for a long time, depending on how you use it. In my case, the rubber on the side grips came off after 6 months, but I managed to glue them back on. One of the side buttons also stopped working. Razer replaced it through the store where I bought it, and now I've been using the new one for over 6 months without any issues. It suits me very well, so I won't change it unless it breaks again before the warranty expires. In the meantime, I bought a Logitech mouse for 25 euros as a backup, which serves its purpose until the replacement arrives. Razer is good in this aspect, as they replaced it without any hesitation.
- The Synapse software is not perfect and consumes some computer resources when running in the background. However, I don't use it much apart from adjusting DPI and RGB lights. With the processing speeds of today's processors, the background usage is not an issue as it is less than 1%.If it was a bit more durable, my review would be 5 stars. However, the fact that it is sensitive and I rated it with 4 stars doesn't mean that I don't recommend it to those whose main criteria for choosing a mouse are speed and accuracy. Personally, I only play shooter games, so I don't want to influence people who play other games. I assume they can choose a more durable mouse with some performance compromise.
