Honest product, quite small and lightweight, suitable for small diameter disc brakes. I have had it for several years without it suffering the slightest damage apart from some external wear due to use.

I had this particular lock for over 10 years with moderate use due to the prolonged inactivity of the motorcycle. In my last encounter with it, I faced the following problem: while it was locked to the frame of the motorcycle, after a ride, it got stuck with the key going in and out with its characteristic motion but the key wouldn't unlock it. I was forced to go to a mechanic to have him cut the pin with a grinder after I managed, with difficulty, to rotate the lock without damaging the bike and reveal it. Disappointment, I didn't expect such a problem from an Abus disc brake lock!

I have had it for about 3 years and as a mechanism it works flawlessly..
Its positives are that it is lightweight and small and it came with a hard fabric carrying case with Velcro so it can be attached somewhere on the machine and not be inside a luggage compartment or somewhere that is bothersome.
Its negatives are that the key always gives me trouble to insert into the lock and the same happens with a second identical lock that I have so it's not just one that happened, it doesn't clean with anything no matter how much I have tried, for example from dirt that may accumulate all the time from the road or the brake disc due to the material that is on the outside, it is not big enough to fit the inner hole of the brake disc without gaps so someone could, for example, pass a saw blade and cut it slowly! Of course, this is a problem with my brake disc not with a smaller or a different type!

At this price, I don't think there is a better option!
However, it is definitely not something extraordinary for a thief with determination..
The black color is the best because the yellow is visible but gets dirty a lot..
