Description

I departed from Pyongyang on February 28, 2014. I had arrived in the country on a warm morning in June 2012 and was leaving almost two years later, in the midst of winter. I remember that day vividly. The snow was falling heavily, and as the car took me to the airport, I couldn't stop crying. North Korea changed the way I perceived society. It opened a window to a reality I was unaware of, which remains unknown and misunderstood to this day. In this book, I have shared my own truth about the country where I lived for about two years and which I loved as if it were my homeland. This truth, far from political agendas and games of impressions, I wanted to share with you. I hope I succeeded.

It is not a boring book and it keeps your interest. As for objectivity, despite the fact that the author maintains a general facade, it tends more towards the side of North Korea. In any case, I believe it is worth buying the book because at least the author has lived there and has seen some things, unlike others who describe the country's life while living on the other side of the planet.
If you are able to filter what you read using common sense, in order to understand when the author "exaggerates," then you will enjoy this book.

Very authentic!!! A truly experiential approach to this beautiful country that Western propaganda tries to tarnish with orchestrated yellow-type references. I highly recommend it for someone to get a taste of this beautiful people with so many gifts!!!!
