If you didn't start taking photos after the triumph of digital cameras, you probably still have quite a few slide films or negative films in your archive. Or you might be faced with the task of sifting through family memories from the past and making them available to everyone.
For these purposes, Rollei has developed the DF-S 310 SE slide film scanner. The "SE" stands for Special Edition, and the delivery range includes additional inserts for the very popular Super 8 and 110 films.
You can scan up to 20 slides in a minute using the built-in preview function. The 2.4-inch color TFT LCD screen allows for an intuitive and quick process.
The 14 MP precision polymer lens highlights even the smallest details from the slides or negative films, you can also interpolate the resolution up to 24 MP if necessary.
Additionally, the Rollei DF-S 310 SE slide film scanner operates with single-pass image capture.
Internally, the DF-S 310 SE stores an image with a total volume of up to 128MB. It also offers you the ability to insert your own SD/SDHC memory card with a capacity of up to 32 GB.
Additionally, with the DF-S 310 SE, you will be able to scan slides, negative films, or Super 8 film completely independently from your desktop or laptop computer.
Power supply operates through a 5V adapter or even entirely via the USB port. Naturally, you can also use your computer; the Rollei slide film scanner is compatible with Windows from 2000 and Mac OS from 10.4.
Use the automatic color balance and exposure control, or manually adjust both values. Finally, the special feature of the DF-S 310 SE: you can connect it directly to your TV via a 3.5mm jack.

Easy connection and fast speed but very poor scanning quality. It displays a strange plastic texture-like appearance in the final photos. It might be marginally acceptable for viewing on a mobile device, for example, but overall it is unpleasant. Used for negative black and white 35mm
A fast and easy film scanner to digitize your films. It scans Film 135, 110, SUPER 8 films, and 135 slides with frame. I use it with 135 negatives. Simply pass each film strip from the right slit to the left, center each image, and scan. Fast, about half a second per scan. It has a resolution option of 14M or 22M. In 14M, each image is approximately 2.5 Mb, that is 4608X3072 pixels (about 120X80cm with 100 pixels/inch), which is more than enough. I use ACDSee Pro on my laptop and batch resize them to 40% to make them approximately 700kb each, and I don't see any decrease in quality. It has internal memory of 100Mb (about 42 photos) and then you can transfer them to your laptop. It also takes a memory card up to 128Mb. Easy menu that adjusts brightness, R, G, B for negatives with issues. It also flips the idol horizontally and/or vertically. It's worth its money and more
For the money, it is very good. It has good photo quality if you open it on a laptop, especially in black and white, where I have used it more
