I bought the converter for a GeForce 1030 card that only has HDMI and DVI-D. I connected it and it works great! However, the monitor I have connected doesn't recognize it as a Samsung but as Algoteck... I recommend it.

Well, let's start. Initially, when I first connected it, I didn't have any image, I don't know why...
And I happened to have a second monitor for which I bought an HDMI to VGA adapter (I have a GTX 960 4gb).
I connect the HDMI to VGA and it works, (I think it's a joke) then I connect the DVI to VGA and voila, it works.
One small issue is the brightness, which decreases by 5-10%, and I assume it's because it doesn't have an extra power supply, as I have seen more expensive ones that require a USB port for extra power...
Anyway, it did its job very well, especially since I don't feel like spending 100-150 for a new monitor right now.

As soon as I installed it, it worked immediately at maximum resolution for the second monitor I bought. It works perfectly!

Connected to a 1060 with a Ryzen 5 2600 and it works flawlessly. It recognized it immediately and all resolutions on my old 4:3 VGA monitor

I was also skeptical, I read the positive comments, I thought it would be value for money, but in the end, now that I tried it, it doesn't work. It displays an image in the blue range, and after a while, the screen simply flickers without transmitting any image. I also tried with another VGA cable, but it did the same.

Initially, I was skeptical when I bought it because I didn't know how well it would work for my case. The reason for the purchase is to connect an old monitor (VGA) that I will use as a second monitor in my new setup. I have a 1050 ti, I plugged it into the DVI - D (dual) port that the adapter has and connected the monitor with VGA on top. I didn't encounter any problems from the first moment, it recognized it immediately and works flawlessly at the maximum resolution that the monitor can offer (1440X900)! I recommend it 100% for similar cases!
